    摘要: A compact beer brewing system (1) has vessels (2, 3) configured to perform mashing, lautering and boiling brewing stages applicable in small scale craft brewing operations. The compact and cost efficient brewing system easily, precisely and repeatably controls and improves critical brew processes involved in brewing and serving by including bottom vessel (2) having an inner tun (28) configured to perform mashing and boiling stages, a top vessel (3) positioned above the bottom vessel (2) in fluid communication with the tun (28) and configured to perform lautering stage, and a pump (51) for moving fluid from the tun (28) to the top vessel (3). Preferably at least the bottom tun (28) and/or the top vessel (3) is/are substantially cylindrical, the diameter of the top vessel (3) is smaller than the diameter of the bottom tun (28) and the top vessel (3) is placed eccentrically over the bottom tun (28).

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a system and method for automatically brewing beer in a three-vessel system. The system comprises valves, flow-rate restrictors, pumps, various heating elements, a hot liquor tank, a mash tun, a boil kettle, a fermenter, and other elements for dispensing and collecting liquid, chiller plates, etc. All these elements are electrically inter-connected to each other and can be remotely operated. A person of ordinary skill in the art will recognize that there are various ways in which said elements can be electrically inter-connected and operated. In at least one embodiment, a system is shown in which beer is automatically brewed from the step in which heated water from the hot liquor tank is mixed with grains in the mash tun, to where the mixture of boiled, hopped, then cooled beer wort is transferred from the boil kettle to the fermenter.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method of producing a bright, yeast fermented beverage, said method comprising the continuous production of wort from mash. More particularly, the present method comprises: a. mashing in a particulate, starch-containing raw material with water and enzymatically hydrolysing the starch to fermentable sugars; b. continuously producing a fermentable wort from the heated mash; c. introducing the wort into a fermenter to ferment the wort with the help of biologically active yeast; d. removing yeast from the fermentate by means of sedimentation; and e. clarifying the low-yeast fermentate to produce a bright, yeast fermented beverage by: processing the low-yeast fermentate in one or more separators to remove suspended material, said one or more separators being selected from the group consisting of centrifuges and decanter centrifuges; and filtering the processed fermentate. The efficiency with which the low-yeast fermentate is clarified to a bright beverage can be maintained during a very long period of time (e.g. for several weeks), which is particularly beneficial in case of a continuous brewing operation in which both wort production and yeast fermentation are carried out in a continuous fashion.

    摘要: A cutting or breaking up device 11 is built into a straining tun 10, which is set in rotation following a certain draining off time, in order to loosen up the brewer's grain cakes which have built up on the screen base 15 of the straining tun 10. Cutting device 11 has an upright, motor-powered shaft 16, to which are fastened a plurality of horizontal arms 12, which in turn support rows of cutting blades 13A, 13B. At the bottom ends of these cutting blades 13A, 13B in turn are fastened at least two cutting shoes 14, which cause a rapid, intensive loosening up of the brewer's grain cake upon rotation of the cutting device 11.

    摘要: Method and apparatus for separating and washing solid particles in suspension in a liquid which includes a series of continuously decanting centrifuges and an equal number of reslurry stations. Fresh wash liquid is introduced into the last of the reslurry stations, together with solids which are discharged from the next to last decanting centrifuge. Solids are separated from liquid in the last decanting centrifuge and the effluent therefrom is directed into the next to last reslurry station for dilution of the suspension therein. The system is particularly adapted for use as a continuous lautering method for producing malt beverages.
