    摘要: Apparatus for continuously conveying and pre-heating a metal charge inside a container of a melting plant, comprising at least a conveyor channel, having walls to convey the metal charge, and at least a hood defining a conveyor tunnel and/or an expansion chamber. The hood is disposed above the conveyor channel for the transit of at least part of the fumes exiting from the container, and the conveyor channel cooperates with apertures to discharge the fumes. A process in accordance with embodiments of the present invention comprises mixing mill scales and fines with coke or other carbon containing fines and sealing the mixture in a container. The container is charged into a cupola or blast furnace, where the components react to form molten iron/steel. The recovery process in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention is performed integral to cupola or blast furnace operations and the recovered metal is collected at the base of the furnace as molten iron/steel.

    摘要: In a method and a device for operating a smelting reduction process, at least part of an export gas from a blast furnace or a reduction unit is thermally utilized in a gas turbine and the exhaust gas of this gas turbine is used in a waste heat steam generator to generate steam. The remaining part of the export gas is fed to a CO2 separation apparatus, the tail gas thereby obtained being fed to a waste heat steam generator and burned for additional steam generation. The combustible components of the tail gas are sent for thermal utilization in a steam generator, so that the overall energy balance of the thermal use of the export gas is improved. In addition, a further part of the export gas is qualitatively improved by the CO2 separation apparatus, so as to generate a high-quality reduction gas which can be supplied for metallurgical use.

Charge materials containing iron ore and, if appropriate, additions are reduced in at least one reduction unit by means of a reducing gas, and at least parts thereof are smelted in a smelting unit, with coal being added and with formation of the reducing gas. Reducing gas from the smelting unit and/or top gas from the reduction unit are/is subjected to cleaning. The process water obtained during the wet cleaning is degassed and in the process volatile organic compounds are removed from the process water.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for reducing a chromium-containing material at a high chromium reduction degree. In the method of the present invention, a mixture of a feedstock containing chromium oxide and a carbonaceous reductant is heated and reduced by radiation heating in a moving hearth furnace. The average rate of raising the temperature of the mixture in the reduction is preferably 13.96° C./s or higher in the period from the initiation of the radiation heating of the mixture until the mixture reaches 1,114° C.

    摘要: The present invention provides a method capable of producing good hot-briquette iron using high-temperature reduced iron discharged at a high temperature from a reducing furnace such as a rotary hearth furnace. The method includes a temperature control step of cooling the high-temperature reduced iron and controlling the temperature of the reduced iron to an appropriate hot-forming temperature of over 600° C. and 750° C. or less, and a step of producing hot briquette iron by hot-forming the high-temperature reduced iron of the appropriate hot-forming temperature with a briquetting machine. The temperature control step includes substantially horizontally holding a rotating drum having a feed blade spirally provided on the inner periphery thereof, charging the high-temperature reduced iron in the rotating drum and passing it through the rotating drum by rotating the rotating drum while maintaining the inside of the rotating drum in a non-oxidizing atmosphere with inert gas, and cooling the outer peripheral surface of the rotating drum by contact with a cooling fluid during the passage of the high-temperature reduced iron through the rotating drum to indirectly cool the reduced iron so that the temperature of the reduced iron is the appropriate hot-forming temperature.
