摘要： A clearer for draft rollers is provided, wherein the material for a cloth guide urging a clearer cloth onto draft rollers is changed to an elastic element having an outer shell composed of a flexible sheet made of sponge, foam rubber, foam urethane, plastic, rubber and the like and containing gas, liquid, gel, sol, powder, fine particles, and the like disposed at the back of the clearer cloth where the clearer cloth does not directly urge the draft rollers, in an appropriate length corresponding to the draft rollers whereby the need for the work of changing the cloth guide position is eliminated even if the roller gauges between the draft rollers are changed, and which prevents scraps of fiber and dust from accumulating as floating fibers in the cloth guide.

摘要： Strand lap-ups may be removed from textile rolls by using the present method and apparatus while the textile rolls remain in position on the textile machine or by initially removing a roll with a lap-up thereon from the textile machine before shearing and severing the lap-up and replacing the removed roll with another roll free of any lap-ups. The present apparatus includes a wheeled hand truck with a vertical array of spaced shelves with at least one of the shelves containing replacement textile rolls and another shelf serving to receive textile rolls having lap-ups thereon. An electrically powered shear is associated with the hand truck and includes a pair of generally parallel cooperating rows of teeth facing in a common direction with the free ends of the teeth being blunt to prevent damage to the roll when being utilized to remove the lap-up from the roll. A battery and battery charger are carried by lower regions of the hand truck and the hand truck is dimensioned to easily maneuver down relatively narrow aisles between rows of adjacent textile machines in a textile mill.

摘要： A cleaner for a roving apparatus which is free from an adverse effect caused by air flow blowing along an upper surface of a roller beam rearward of the roller beam, and which, after the fibers scraped from the bottom clearer cloth are collected to the rear of the roller beam, conveys the fibers to the end of an apparatus frame. The fibers, etc., adhered to the bottom clearer cloth are scraped by a scraper to fall onto a roller beam 1. A wall 25b located at the opposite side from the roller beam 1 prevents the fibers, etc., from falling off from the guide rail 25.
