摘要： An invention is provided for use with sewing machines that either allows for a table to be attached or to use the integral table built into certain manufacturers of sewing machines. The table has provisions to slidably secure guide plates thus allowing for more consistent seam lines when in use. The guide plates have provisions to provide clearance to the presser foot when moved closer together. The table has ruled markings to more precisely set the seams with the use of the guide plates. The guide plates can be used with sewing machines with integral tables by the addition of a pair of support plates secured to the bottom of the table, and a pair of slide plates separated by sleeves. The slide plates may have graded markings as depicted on the table.

摘要： A towel cloth positioning device comprises a plurality of projectors provided above a work table for projecting indication marks on the hemming portion of a sheet of towel cloth which is cut piece by piece and is placed on the work table so as to indicate given positions on the hemming portion thereof and pressing units for pressing the towel cloth at the hemming portion thereof on the work table by way of pressing members capable of individually pressing the hemming portion of the towel cloth. Inasmuch as the edge of the hemming portion of the towel cloth can be accurately cut at the edge thereof, it is possible to effectively produce a high quality towel. Moreover, inasmuch as the positioning according to the positioning patterns is performed a plurality of times, it is possible to place various kinds of towel cloths along a line indicated by the positioning patterns with ease and accuracy.

摘要： To aid in the proper placement of patterns to be sewn on work fabric, a sewing machine includes a pattern projection system for forming pattern images on the fabric. The pattern images are of the same size and orientation as the pattern sewn by the machine. The image projection system includes a light source and a light transmission imaging element for forming images on the fabric. The imaging element can be liquid crystal. The image forming system displays a marker to indicate that portions of the pattern to be sewn are outside a predetermined image area. A memory is provided to store pattern completion data, so that after an interruption in the sewing of a pattern, the unfinished part of the pattern can be imaged on the fabric and the machine can complete the pattern.

摘要： A sewing machine wherein the fabric supporting arm or bed carries a fabric guide which is movable to any one of a number of positions at different distances from the needle. The fabric guide carries a tape measure or the arm or bed carries a ruler. The tape measure or the ruler has an eyelet for temporary attachment of the tape measure or of the ruler to the needle. The fabric guide is movable along the tape measure or ruler to a position at a desired distance from the needle. The eyelet is then detached from the needle and the tape measure or the ruler is retracted, either by hand or by a spring, to be out of the way during sewing. At such time, one edge of the fabric abuts a stop of the fabric guide while the needle makes a row of stitches at the selected distance from the edge.

The pulse generator cooperates with markings which deliver pulses corresponding to the stepwise amounts and can be switched on via a switch actuable upon locking engagement of the setting element. The pulse generator is connected to a display unit via a pulse evaluating device.
