摘要： A key-removable lock core that is retained in a core receptacle by a retaining lug, and which can operated by an operating key to align the pins of the pin chambers for shear at the operating shear line, and to allow the key plug to be rotated, and which employs a control tool with the operating key for manipulating the pins into alignment for shear at the control shear line, to allow the sleeve and the key plug together to be rotated, to move the retaining lug on the sleeve between a projected position in which the lug is engaged behind a rearward-facing shoulder in the core receptacle to retain the core in the receptacle, and a retracted position within the profile of the core.

摘要： A recodeable lock includes a housing, a cylinder plug, a plurality of wafer tumblers, and a sidebar coupled with the cylinder plug. The sidebar is assembled with a plurality of code blocks and a codebar releasably securing the code blocks to the sidebar. A liftbar is disposed in the housing radially outward of the cylinder plug and is configured to selectively engage a radially outward extending appendage of the codebar when the cylinder plug and sidebar are rotated to a recoding orientation, to release the code blocks from the sidebar. The housing includes a circumferential track axially positioned to receive the appendage of the codebar to permit greater than 180 degree rotation of the cylinder plug and sidebar with respect to the housing.

The system further comprises at least one master pin matrix including a master pin sequence for each change key cut and at least one rekey matrix including a rekey cut for each change key. Each master pin sequence represents a sequence of master pins configured to achieve the respective change key cut and the at least two master key cuts.

摘要： A lock of the type in which a latch means is able to be actuated if elongated members are able to pass through associated slots (54) in latch elements. There are two sets of latch elements (50) in two keyways (48, 49) such that, when the slots (54) in opposed pairs of elements are aligned, the actuating members can pass through. One set of latch elements (54) are positioned by a setter or biscuit (56) and the other set are positioned by a key (58) that corresponds to the shape of the setter to align the slots (54) of corresponding elements in each set. This type of lock is improved by providing at least one latch element (50) in one set (ie in one keyway 48 or 49), with a wider slot (54) to enable master keying. The master key is set to correspond to the highest or lowest position in the wide slot.

摘要： The present invention provides a system of locking the type of lock which has a cylinder constituted by a static body or barrel and by a rotatory body or core, equipped with a multiplicity of radial assemblies or key sequences. The lock contains at least one pair of tumblers mounted against a common impeller spring. The lock sequences of which each operate in relation to respective indentations formed by the tooth-like cutting of the active edge of a key blade. The cylinder for six or five key sequences all of which are spring-loaded. The key corresponding to the cylinder and having corresponding indentations. A removable plug or stop which is selectively placed or removed with respect to the opening at back, is situated farther to the rear of the channel for insertion of the key into the rotatable body or core. The position of the removable plug or stop being such as to displace a step or an amplitude of the distance between the axes of two successive key sequences.

摘要： A lock and a key are provided wherein the key is used in conjunction with the lock. The key has a stop bit and a series of coding bits along its shank. The stop bit and each coding bit have a leading edge and a trailing edge to provide coding of the key and to form one side of a groove. The lock has a housing having a key-actuated cogwheel assembly. The cogwheels are registered with a keyhole and are spaced for engagement by the coding bits of the key. A driven cogwheel assembly has a series of cogwheels that mesh with a corresponding key-actuated cogwheel. A lock bolt is projected and retracted between two positions by a lock bolt actuating mechanism responding to position of the stop bit and coding bits.

A flat key, presenting a coded side, pushes the plates until their notches are brought into alignment, in which a feeler then comes into mesh by a rectilinear edge. 摘要： A cycle lock having at least one plurality of disc-like tumblers loosely mounted on a shaft parallel with the axis of rotation of the key rotated lock cylinder. Each tumbler has a two spaced lobes which, in the neutral state of the tumbler, contact the arcuate surface of the cylinder but one of the lobes may drop into the key slot in the cylinder if not occupied by a high segment on the key. A key is initially inserted into the lock at a special location at which all tumblers are in their neutral state, and the rotation of the key to its normal position of insertion and removal will set the lock tumblers according to the key coding. In one embodiment particularly useful for hotels, etc., two sets of tumblers are employed: one set for transient or guest keys, a second set for service personnel keys, and a third key, a grand master key, operates the second tumbler set and can reset both sets of tumblers for accepting new keys with different codings thereon.

The blocking means (12) are preferably annular and entirely guided in the displaceable locking mechanism (2) as well as moveable between two blocking end positions, in which each blocking means is in locking engagement with the lock casing (1a,1b). The card (3) belonging to the lock has through-going, elongated slits (3a) located and dimensioned to receive the annular blocking means (12), so that upon insertion of the card all the blocking means (12) are brought to intermediate positions permitting the displacement of the locking mechanism.
