The nested lock screw includes an inner lock screw, the inner lock screw positioned within and threadedly coupled to the outer sleeve, the inner lock screw passing through the lock screw aperture and engaging the inner receptacle.

    摘要: One or more geometric dimensions of a portion of a washout section of a wellbore are determined. A retrievable tubular sleeve is run downhole through the casing string, such that a key profile disposed on an outer surface of the retrievable tubular sleeve connects with a landing nipple disposed on an inner surface of the casing string. The retrievable tubular sleeve is dimensioned such that, when the key profile is connected with the landing nipple, a portion of the retrievable tubular sleeve extends downhole from the downhole end of the casing string and within the portion of the washout section for which the one or more geometric dimensions have been determined, and an intervention or measurement tool can be run through the retrievable tubular sleeve through across the washout section.

    摘要: A system includes a tool mandrel securable to a landing nipple and a prong receptacle coupled to a lower end of the tool mandrel. The prong receptacle includes a central bore and a pressure release port in communication with the central bore. The system also includes an equalizing prong initially securable within the tool mandrel in a run-in position. Further, the system includes a tubular prong extension coupled to the equalizing prong. An upper end of the tubular prong extension extends up out of the tool mandrel. Moreover, axially downward movement of the tubular prong extension from the run-in position to a set position secures the tool mandrel to the landing nipple, and axially upward movement of the tubular prong extension from the set position to a released position disengages the tool mandrel from the landing nipple.

    摘要: A remotely-operated fluid connection assembly to hold higher internal pressures in larger diameters. The assembly comprises a fluid connection adapter and a fluid connection housing assembly. When the adapter enters the housing assembly: (A) locking elements on the housing assembly constrict about the adapter; and (B) at least a first seal section on the adapter sealingly contacts a first seal bore on the housing assembly. Progressive engagement of a locking ring upon the locking elements urges the locking elements to tighten against the adapter. Internal pressure encourages adapter displacement, which then further tightens the adapter against the locking elements as now restrained by the locking ring. Internal pressure further encourages the first seal section on the adapter to expand radially to tighten the contact with the first seal bore in the housing assembly.
