摘要: A side pocket mandrel for use in a gas lift system includes a primary flow bore that is linearly aligned with the primary longitudinal axis of the production tubing. The side pocket mandrel also includes valve pocket that is laterally offset from the primary flow bore, where the valve pocket includes a port that extends through the side pocket mandrel to the annular space (annulus) to place the interior of the valve pocket in fluid communication with the annulus. To prevent the unintended passage of fluids from the interior of the side pocket mandrel to the annulus through the valve pocket and port, the side pocket mandrel includes an integrated check valve within the port that permits the flow of fluids from the annuls into the side pocket mandrel, while preventing the passage of fluids from the side pocket mandrel to the annulus.

In one aspect, the method for deploying the multi-zone completion assembly includes coupling a casing scraper assembly to an inner service tool string hanging from a beginning section of a packer assembly suspended from a rig floor, the inner service tool string located within and extending below the beginning section of the packer assembly, and the casing scraper assembly located entirely below the beginning section of the packer assembly string. In one or more other aspects, the method includes completing the packer assembly string from the rig floor as the inner service tool string and casing scraper assembly are hanging therefrom.

摘要: A system for cementing a tubular in a wellbore that includes a sleeve made up of an annular housing with a cement seal on outer surface of the housing. The sleeve further includes a sliding block, a stationary block, an arm attached to the sliding block, and a passage formed through a sidewall of the housing, and that receives a free end of the arm. When the sleeve inner bore is pressurized, the arm moves to move the sliding block into an open space in the stationary block. Inserting the sliding block into the open space forms a seal on the outer periphery of the sleeve which forms a barrier to cement flowing in an annulus between the sleeve and inner surface of the wellbore. Lost circulation material can be deposited in the annulus and which settles along an interface between the seal and wellbore wall.
