摘要: An apparatus is provided to test valves. The apparatus includes a support structure and a plurality of engagement members coupled to the support structure. Each member of the plurality of engagement members is coupled with a valve of a valve train associated with an engine head. The apparatus further includes a camshaft, which includes a plurality of lobes coupled to the support structure. Each lobe of the plurality of lobes are equally spaced from each other and coupled to a member of the plurality of engagement members. The apparatus further includes a driving mechanism coupled to the camshaft, which is configured to rotate the camshaft and control each member of the plurality of engagement members to further control an activation of each valve of the valve train associated with the engine head.

摘要: A test platform for an automatic flushing valve is described. It includes a fluid source, weighing parts, a bracket, a diverter and several driplines. The driplines are parallel to each other and are evenly arranged in an array in a circumferential direction of the diverter. Emitters are installed on each of the driplines; one end of each driplines is fixed to the diverter, which is connected to the fluid source to feed fluid into the driplines. The diverter is pivotally connected to the bracket, so that the diverter and the driplines can pivot relative to the bracket; the other end of each driplines is used to install automatic flushing valves. Weighing parts are installed below the automatic flushing valves to measure the solution flowing out of the automatic flushing valves, and other weighing parts are installed below the driplines to measure solution flowing out of the emitters.

摘要: Dishwashing appliances and methods, as provided herein, may include features or steps such as measuring a first pressure in a sump with a pressure sensor and storing the first pressure in a memory of the dishwashing appliance as a reference pressure. Dishwashing appliances and methods may further include features or steps for measuring a second pressure within the sump with the pressure sensor after measuring the first pressure, and determining that a check valve is failed when the second pressure exceeds the first pressure by at least a predetermined margin.

摘要: A method of detecting electrical failure in a refrigeration system is provided. The method includes determining whether a present superheat of the refrigeration system is between a maximum superheat and a minimum superheat for the refrigeration system, the maximum superheat and the minimum superheat defining a normal operating range. The method also includes detecting an electrical property of an expansion valve assembly of the refrigeration system responsive to the superheat being outside the normal operating range. The method further includes determining whether the expansion valve assembly as experienced an electrical failure based on at least the electrical property. A signal indicating that the expansion valve has experienced an electrical failure is generated based on a determination that the expansion valve assembly has experienced the electrical failure.

摘要: Reduced order modeling is used in the present systems and methods for monitoring the health of a system and is particularly useful in monitoring the health and estimating the remaining useful life of blow out preventer (BOP) annular used in an oil or gas well. A reduced order model is a linear low order characterization of the system that describes the annular behavior with a small number of parameters that can be interpreted physically. The reduced order model is then identified and adapted in real-time in order to detect the change in the system behavior and characteristics. This adaptation helps in drawing conclusions on diagnostics and prognostics of the physical system.

摘要: Bandwidth-selectable acoustic emission apparatus and methods for transmitting time-averaged signal data are described. An example apparatus includes an integrated external preamplifier device having a bandwidth-selectable analog filter and a data extractor. The integrated external preamplifier device is to receive an analog acoustic emission signal generated via an acoustic emission sensor operatively coupled to the integrated external preamplifier device. The bandwidth-selectable analog filter is to filter the analog acoustic emission signal based on a software-programmed bandwidth to generate a filtered analog acoustic emission signal. The data extractor is to extract a time-averaged analog signal from the filtered analog acoustic emission signal, and to transmit the time-averaged analog signal from the integrated external preamplifier device to an external data acquisition system.

摘要: A diagnosis method is provided for appropriately predicting a state change of a valve with a simple configuration. The valve diagnosis method comprises: calculating a value of a first rate of change, with respect to a predetermined damage index during reference data acquisition, of the predetermined damage index during diagnosis; calculating a value of a second rate of change, with respect to a root mean square value calculated from a difference between predicted waveform data of vibration during reference data acquisition and vibration data serving as reference, of a root mean square value calculated from a difference between predicted waveform data of vibration during diagnosis and vibration data during diagnosis; in a plane, arranging a plot of a diagnostic result based on a value of the first rate of change being calculated and a value of the second rate of change being calculated; and determining a state of a valve to be diagnosed based on a value of the first rate of change being calculated, a value of the second rate of change being calculated, and an arrangement position on the plane of a plot of the diagnostic result.
