    摘要: An electrical power distribution network includes: a plurality of electrical power control apparatuses, each of which include one or more signal conversion components receiving electrical power in the form of a first signal and generating a corresponding second signal, a controller that controls operation of the signal conversion components, electrical power generation components acting as sources of electrical power to at least some of the electrical power control apparatuses, and electrical power consumption components acting as sinks of electrical power from at least some of the electrical power control apparatuses. The electrical power control apparatuses operate autonomously but are interconnected so that the electrical power control apparatuses collectively maintain the voltages and frequencies of electrical power signals flowing through the electrical power distribution network at target values to compensate for variations in the sinks and/or sources of electrical power.

    摘要: An electrical power supply system can include: at least one virtual air gap transformer; a heterodyning component configured to generate a corresponding heterodyned signal having frequency components corresponding to a sum and a difference of the first fundamental frequency and a reference frequency; a filtering component configured to filter a heterodyned signal to remove one of the sum and the difference frequency components therefrom and provide a corresponding filtered signal; an input port; and a control component configured: (i) to receive a signal and to generate a corresponding frequency control signal to determine a reference frequency of the heterodyning component such that the filtered signal has a target output frequency; and (ii) to receive a signal representing the first input voltage, and to generate a corresponding virtual air gap control signal to determine the electrical current in the control windings of the at least one virtual air gap transformer.

According to the invention, the selector contact unit (7) and the switching means (16, 17) for switching the load without interruption are jointly actuated without using an intermediate energy accumulator, by means of a threaded spindle (5) which is rotated by a drive motor (2) during a switching operation.

    摘要: An electromagnetic device may include a magnetic flux core and an opening through the magnetic flux core. A conductor winding may be received in the opening and extend through the magnetic flux core. An electrical current flowing through the conductor winding generates a magnetic field about the conductor winding and a magnetic flux flow about the opening in the magnetic flux core. The electromagnetic device may also include a core flux sensor arrangement to detect a magnetic flux level in the magnetic flux core. The electromagnetic device may additionally include a core flux control system configured to adjust the electrical current flowing through the conductor winding to control the magnetic flux level in the magnetic flux core.

    摘要: A dual voltage generation circuit, responsive to a switching signal, to selectively generates a constant voltage at an output terminal is provided. The generation circuit comprises a switch transistor, a first and a second zener diodes and a diode. As the switching signal is logic high, at the output terminal, the circuit outputs a first constant voltage, and as the switching signal is logic low, the circuit outputs a second constant voltage.

Electrons produced at region 46 travel through the crossed-fields to region 48, with cascading ionization to produce an electrically conductive plasma. The electrons are lost at region 48 and plasma density is controlled by magnetic field strength to control magnitude of interelectrode current.
