摘要: A method, mobile user device and system for identifying authenticity of a cylindrical object from photographic images. The method includes acquiring two or more photographic images of the cylindrical object from different angles around the cylinder axis (A) with an imaging device, generating a target image from the two or more photographic images by image stitching, analysing the target image in relation to a reference image representing an original cylindrical object and generating an identification output based on the analysing, and generating an authenticity identification indication based on the identification output.

摘要: A system that determines the items on a shelf by projecting camera images to a surface aligned with the tops of the items. Projecting the images to the top surface removes distortions due to camera projections and aligns multiple images to a common reference frame. Item tops may be visible without occlusion in one or more camera images, simplifying item identification. The projected images may be input into an item detector that is trained to recognize images of the tops of items. The item detector may process projected images from different cameras with parallel feature extractor subnetworks that generate feature maps; the feature maps may then be averaged across images and the averaged feature map may be input into an item detection subnetwork.

摘要: A film inspection system includes a film positioner having a film holder configured to hold a printed film having a printed layer on a substrate of the printed film. The film holder is configured to fix a perimeter of the printed film. The film positioner includes a film stretcher positioned relative to the film holder to interface with the printed film. The film stretcher is movable relative to the film holder to stretch the printed film at a stretch area while the perimeter of the printed film is fixed by the film holder. The film inspection system includes a vision system having an imaging device configured to image the printed film at a scan area within the stretch area. The film holder and the imaging device are movable relative to each other to move the scan area along the printed layer to image the printed layer of the printed film.

摘要: An in-vehicle violence detection system includes a speech and non-speech audio recognition module capturing occupant threat words and non-speech audio events. In-vehicle accelerometers generate data analyzed in a shaking movement recognition module. A heart rate and breathing rate detection module measures physiological changes in occupant heart rates and breathing rhythms. An in-vehicle semantic scene recognition module analyzes occupant non-verbal interactions. Occupant threat indicators including an audible threat indicator are generated by the speech and non-speech audio event recognition module. Visual threat indicators are generated by the in-vehicle semantic scene recognition module. Physiological threat indicators are generated by the heart rate and breathing rate detection module. Vibration-based threat indicators are generated by the shaking movement recognition module. The four threat indicators are fused to estimate a threat level, consolidated by incorporating contextual information including a vehicle location and time. Different actions are taken based on the consolidated threat level.
