    摘要: An apparatus and a method for detecting and locating leaks in a nuclear plant, in particular a pipeline in a nuclear plant, include a collection line which is permeable to a substance to be detected and which communicates with a pump and with a sensor for the substance. The sensor has a detector for detecting the radioactivity of the substance or a branch line which communicates with a detector for detecting radioactivity branches off upstream of the sensor. If a radioactive substance reaches the collection line and penetrates it, then the location of the leak can be determined from the instant at which the radioactive substance reaches the detector.

    摘要: A core differential pressure and liquid control line apparatus for a nuclear reactor is described. The apparatus includes a first portion configured to be positioned within and extend through an opening in the pressure vessel wall. At least the first tube portion has a diameter less than the diameter of the opening in the pressure vessel wall. An annulus is formed between the exterior surface of the first tube portion and the pressure vessel wall so that a neutron absorbent can be injected into the pressure vessel at the location of the annulus. The apparatus further includes a second L-shaped tube portion configured to be coupled to the first tube portion, and a third tube portion configured to be coupled to the second tube portion. The open end of the third tube portion extends to an elevation above the core plate.

    摘要: The clogging indicator makes it possible to continuously measure the purity of sodium circulating in the circuits of a fast neutron reactor without requiring the dismantling or completely changing the indicator should the measuring section becomes clogged. The clogging indicator essentially includes a bypass pipe comprising one coaxial external section (8) and one coaxial internal section (9). A measuring head (10) is mounted and able to move between these two sections and is mainly composed of at least one thermoelement (24) and one mobile grid (22) causing the measuring section to vary and thus the measured flow so as to favor uncloggings and the dissolving of any impurities crystallized during the measurements. This unit is completed by the other main elements of the clogging indicator in an elongated longitudinal body and surrounded by a thermic exchanger (11) for cooling the sodium.
