Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for managing data flows in a network with a plurality of forwarding elements routing flows between network entities (UD, N, SN, FE) of a network or network domain (ND), wherein a) flows between network entities are marked with congestion information, preferably in form of resource utilization information, by at least one of the forwarding elements such that the highest congestion level prevailing on the respective flow path is indicated, b) the locations of one or more possible and/or present bottlenecks and/or congestions in the network based on the congestion information are identified, and c) one or more actions are performed to avoid, mitigate, and/or to resolve the identified possible and/or present bottlenecks and/or congestions.
Abstract:
A method of providing access control for a software defined network (SDN) controller, wherein said controller (4), upon receiving a trigger event from the data plane (1) of said software defined network, triggers one or more applications (6) that are installed to run at the control plane (2) of said software defined network atop said controller (4) to react to said trigger event, is characterized in that said controller (4), before triggering applications (6) due to a trigger event, applies a conflict resolution scheme comprising the steps of defining flow spaces on the basis of packet headers and assigning each flow space a priority, determining all flow spaces that are affected by said trigger event and selecting from these flow spaces a single flow space having assigned a priority that complies with a predetermined policy, and determining, from the applications related to said selected flow space, a single application – master application – according to predefined criteria and triggering, in addition to said master application, only those applications whose reactions to said trigger event do not conflict with said master application. Furthermore, a corresponding software defined network (SDN) with access control and a corresponding SDN controller are disclosed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition for expanding lymphocytes comprising at least two types of cytokines selected from interleukin 2 (IL-2), interleukin 15 (IL-15) and interleukin 21 (IL-21). It further relates to a Method of preparing a population of clinically relevant lymphocytes, comprising the steps of: obtaining a body sample from a mammal in particular a tissue sample or body liquid sample, comprising at least one lymphocyte and optionally separating the cells in the body sample, culturing the body sample in-vitro to expand and/or stimulate lymphocytes in the sample wherein the culturing comprises using IL-2, IL-15 and/or IL-21, and optionally determining the presence of clinically relevant lymphocyte in the cultured sample. The present invention also relates to an immunotherapy and the population of clinically relevant lymphocytes.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for preparing a cell culture medium comprising a mixture of blood products from two or more donors, comprising the steps of: a) providing at least a first blood product from a first donor; b) measuring the concentration of at least one quality factor in the first blood product; c) comparing the measured concentration of a quality factor to a concentration range predefined for the quality factor; d) selecting the first blood product for the cell culture medium if the concentration measured for the quality factor is in the predefined range and optionally converting the first selected blood product into a first processed blood product or else unselecting the first blood product.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method for proving retrievability, 'POR', of information, said method being performed in a memory available to one or more computation devices, wherein credentials between a user device, a storing device and an auditing device between each pair of said devices are exchanged and used for communication between them, comprising the steps of a) Encoding the information to be stored on said storing device by said user device or said auditing device, b) Storing the encoded information on said storing device, c) Verifying the correctness of said stored information by the auditing device and using unpredictable random information d) Transmitting correctness information to the user device, said correctness information being secure and which are generated based on the result of said verification by the auditing device and e) Validating said correctness information by the user device for proving retrievability of said stored information and said unpredictable random information.
Abstract:

Said compounds are characterized as phospholipase A inhibitors. In particular, the PLA inhibitors of the invention can be lysophospholipid-conjugates. The compounds of the invention can be used for therapeutic and cosmetic body fat reduction in a subject. Therapeutic use of the inventive compounds can in particular include obesity treatment. The present invention also provides methods, compositions and kits for weight management.
Abstract:
A method of dynamic fleet routing, wherein said fleet includes a number of vehicles that perform delivery services, and wherein an initial delivery plan is generated based on a customer demand for deliveries, wherein said initial delivery plan specifies routes for said vehicles and schedules customers of the delivery services within the routes, is characterized in the steps of splitting the planning period of said initial delivery plan into a number of time slots, associating each of said time slots with a slot inconsistency factor depending on factors that contribute to dynamicity within the respective time slot, and based on said slot inconsistency factor, allotting to each of said time slots an individual slack time to accommodate any dynamic changes. Furthermore, the invention relates to a corresponding fleet management system.
Abstract:
For facilitating the assessment of a building's performance and providing information for a suitable configuration for energy savings a method for monitoring a building management system, BMS, is claimed, wherein data points within an observation window are observed, further comprising the following steps: statistically analysing the observations by a statistical measure, to obtain statistical data or a statistical characteristic of the observations, and detecting a logical and/or physical misconfiguration and/or deterioration of the BMS or of a sensor, actuator or sub-system of the BMS and/or detecting a change to the core and/or shell of the building, based on a deviating of the obtained statistical data or statistical characteristic of the observations from an expected statistical characteristic or feature. Further, a system for monitoring a building management system is claimed, preferably for carrying out the above mentioned method.
