Die Erfindung betriffteine Lebensmittelzerkleinerungsvorrichtung, die ein Basisteil, ein erstes Zerkleinerungswerkzeug, wenigstens ein weiteres Zerkleinerungswerkzeug und einen Auffangbehälter für zerkleinertes Lebensmittelgut aufweist. Die Lebensmittelzerkleinerungsvorrichtung zeichnet sichdadurch aus, dass wenigstens ein Zerkleinerungswerkzeug oder wenigstens ein Teil eines der Zerkleinerungswerkzeuge wieder lösbar an dem Basisteil festgelegt ist oder festlegbar ist und dass vorzugsweise der Auffangbehälter wahlweise in einer ersten Stellung, in der er das mit dem ersten Zerkleinerungswerkzeug zerkleinerte Lebensmittelgut auffängt, oderin einer zweiten, von der ersten Stellung verschiedenen, Stellung, in der er das mit dem weiteren Zerkleinerungswerkzeug zerkleinerte Lebensmittelgut auffängt, in dem Basisteil anordenbar ist.

A machine (20) for applying support members to opposing sides of opposing edges of a sheet material (22) includes a support tab applicator assembly (50) that applies a first portion of a support tab along a longitudinal edge of a first side of the sheet material (22), a support tab finisher assembly (52) that applies a second portion of the support tab disposed opposite the first portion to a second side of the sheet material (22) disposed opposite the first side, and a hole punch assembly (54) that cuts a hole through the sheet material (22). The machine (20) also may include a strengthening film applicator assembly (60) that applies a strengthening film along a longitudinal length of the first side of the sheet material (22) and/or across the support tab.

Machines and methods capable of producing diced products from materials. Such a machine includes a knife (14) adapted to slice food product to produce slices, a circular cutter (20) comprising knives (31) that are adapted and arranged to cut the slices into strips, a cross-cutter (22) comprising knives (30) that are adapted and arranged to produce a cross-cut in the strips, and a shear plate (32) that is at least partially between the circular cutter (20) and the cross-cutter (22). The shear plate (32) defines a first shear edge (48) in proximity to the knives (30) of the cross-cutter (22) and is adapted to ensure dicing of the strips received by the cross-cutter (22) from the circular cutter (20). A support bar (34) supports the shear plate (32), and a feature (52) is provide for adjusting the proximity of the first shear edge (48) relative to the knives (30) of the cross-cutter (22).

This invention provides a system and method for aligning, feeding, trimming, slitting, rotating, cross-slitting and stacking sheets, each containing one or more discrete page images thereon that allows for greater automation of the overall process so that reduced or no manual intervention is required to generate completed book stacks or "blocks" from a stream or stack of printed sheets. Sheets are fed downstream on a feed surface, trimmed at a first, upstream trimming station to remove margin edges and optionally separate the sheets relative to the discrete page images. The sheets are then rotated 90 degrees and fed to a second, downstream trimming station that trims the right-angle edges and optionally separates the sheets into a final group of full-bleed pages, removing margins and gutter strips. The sheets are feed to a stacking assembly to be tacked in page order and any rejected, defective sheets or stacks are removed from the order. Trimming stations can be automatically adjusted to accommodate different numbers and sizes of pages in sheets. The stacking assembly can include a right-angle merge assembly that can include a plurality of decks, served by divert gates to handle a large number of separated pages to-be-stacked.

Die erste Schneidklingenanordnung ist in einem ersten Bereich des Schneideinsatzes angeordnet und ein zweiter, vom ersten Bereich verschiedener Bereich weist eine zweite Schneidklingenanordnung auf.

The apparatus (10, 120) including a rotatable tyre support (18) which is operable to releasably retain a tyre (98), a drive arrangement (16) operable to rotate the tyre support ( 1 8), a first cutting arrangement (20) operable, in use, to separate the sidewall portions ( 102) of a tyre (98) from the tread portion (100), and a second cutting arrangement (22) operable to cut the tread portion ( 100) of the tyre (98) into a strip. The apparatus (10, 120) is further provided with a lubricant dispenser which is operable, in use, to deposit lubricant onto a tyre (98) in the vicinity of the first cutting arrangement (20).
