The applicator includes a pickup mandrel for picking up the bail handle to be applied to a container; a stationary mandrel for receiving the bail handle from the pickup mandrel, the stationary mandrel having an engaging surface which has a diameter larger than an inner diameter of the bail handle when picked up by the pickup mandrel; and an applicator mandrel for receiving the bail handle from the pickup mandrel, the applicator mandrel having an engaging surface which has a diameter equal to or smaller than the stationary mandrel.

The present invention concerns a device (1) for applying gripping handles (M) on films (P), being supplied on shrinkwrap packers (2) for making bundles di bottles (B), cans and/or similar containers (B). The device (1) comprises: an applying head (10) provided with a roller (11) for applying gripping handles (M); an abutment mechanism (14) for operatively supporting a series of heat-shrinkable packaging films (P), being supplied on a respective shrinkwrap packer (2). The applying roller (11) and the abutment mechanism (14) are mobile with respect to one another between a non- operating condition, in which they are spaced apart, and an operating condition, in which the applying roller (11) is arranged, at the abutment mechanism (14), against at least one of the films (P) being supplied to apply a respective gripping handle (M) on the latter. The abutment mechanism (14) comprises a supporting tape (15) having an advancement surface (16) for advancing the films (P), which, in the operating condition, provides an abutment for the applying roller (11), which applies each handle (M) on a respective packaging film (P), acting against the advancement surface (16) of the supporting tape (15).

Packmaschine und Verfahren zum Füllen von Produkten in mit Seitenfalten versehene Offensäcke, sowie ein solcher Offensack. Die Packmaschine umfasst eine Fülleinrichtung, um die Offensäcke von einem Einfüllende aus zu füllen. Es ist eine Verschließeinrichtung vorgesehen ist, mit welcher nach dem Füllvorgang das Einfüllende mit einer Schweißnaht vollständig dicht verschließbar ist. Es ist eine zusätzliche Schweißeinrichtung vorgesehen. Die zusätzliche Schweißeinrichtung ist dazu geeignet und ausgebildet, zwei in Querrichtung seitlich voneinander beabstandete zusätzliche und etwa parallel zu der Schweißnaht ausgerichtete Haltenähte in die Seitenfalten der Offensäcke einzubringen.

The present invention provides a packaged cementitious product including a bag formed of a polymeric material. The bag has first and second sealed ends (14, 16). The first end (14) has a first tab (18) extending therefrom defining at least one aperture (20) therethrough so that the first tab defines a first handle (22). The second end (16) has a second tab (24) extending therefrom defining at least one aperture (26) therethrough so that the second tab defines a second handle (28). A cementitious product is sealed within the bag, and wherein the first and second handles facilitate the handling of the packaged cementitious product.

The second clipper attaches the loop back to the netting to form a handle. A scale can be used to weigh the material and a printer can create a label, with the weight or whatever other information is desired, for attachment to the netting.
