Abstract:
The object of the invention is a method for the handling of ash classified as waste. The ash is sorted when dry according to grain size and is formed for use as an additive either in the manufacture of cement, concrete, asphalt, fertilizer, panel products, building components and/or grouting material and/or in earthworks, in soil reinforcement, in the stabilization of a road bed and other land areas, or in mine fill. Ash sorted by grain size to be suited to purpose is selected as a filler product, into which is mixed waste gypsum or other additives according to need. When manufacturing an additive for the stabilization of a road bed and other land areas, it is advantageous to use ash derived from wood combustion as the ash. The invention also relates to products manufactured with the method and to the use of said products.

This invention relates to an arrangement and method for enhancing conditions of various types in a coastal area comprising one or more actuating mechanisms (1) capturing energy from waves and/or tide and converting captured energy to another form of energy and/or producing unsalted water, the actuating mechanism (1) comprising at least a base (4), on which a reciprocating flap (5) is installed by the help of at least a pivot shaft (5b). At least one actuating mechanism (1) of the arrangement is arranged to make an impact on the water area surrounding the arrangement.

The object of the invention is a method and an apparatus for the handling of an input material (7), such as fly ash, that is granular material when dry, in which method the input material (7) is sorted by grain size into different fractions (1F-6F) using a screen device (10) and/or one or more classifiers (15, 21) and/or a grinding device (19) and/or an air flow as an aid. The input material (7) to be sorted is conducted from its storage location (2) into the apparatus space (1) via the input (7a) for unsorted input material (7), in which apparatus space (1) the input material (7) is sorted and manufactured into an end product (9) comprising the desired maximum grain size and composition, the end product being transferred from the apparatus space (1) via an output (9a) to its storage location (3).

The object of the invention is a method for strengthening a tubular bridge or culvert, and the tubular bridge or culvert strengthened with the method, which structure comprises at least a steel pipe (1) that is the object to be strengthened and is provided with an inside surface. Concrete reinforcement composed of ribbed reinforcement bars (2a) is assembled on the inside surface of the bottom part of the steel pipe and on top of the damage points, on top of which reinforcement a mold (2) composed of mold modules (3-5, 13) is placed, which mold is filled with concrete in such a way that the damage points and the ribbed reinforcement bars (2a) remain completely covered by concrete.

The present invention describes a method and system how to get the location information to a mobile device (10) indoors or outdoors. The method and system includes that one or several nodes (20) capable to communicate with short-distance communication network (30) having two or more pieces of location in- formation in their identification (25) are placed into the area where the mobile device (10) capable to communicate with short distance communication net-work (30) should get the location information. Method and system also includes in the mobile device (10) an application (40) which is able to detect, analyze and deduce the location based on the pieces of location information got from the node (20) or nodes.

The object of the invention is a method and apparatus in a window arrangement of a farm production building, which production building (1) comprises at least a roof (2), outer walls (3) provided with a bottom part (3a) and a top part (3b), and a floor space (4) with sleeping stalls (4a), manure gutters and other necessary actuators, and which production building (1) comprises openable windows (6) at least in the outer walls (3). The inlet height of the incoming air flow (AF) into the production building (1) from the windows (6) is changed to be higher the lower that the temperature of the outside air falls.

The object of the invention is a method and an arrangement for determining the location and/or speed of an object configured to move along a controlled trajectory, in connection with which object is fitted a measuring device (1 ) measuring at least the magnetic field acting on the object in its different locations, which measuring device comprises means (4) for measuring the magnetic field, from the measuring data received from which means a magnetic footprint describing the magnetic field acting on the object in its different locations is formed, which magnetic footprint is recorded in connection with a teaching run, or with self-learning, for later use. The location of the object after a teaching run is determined by measuring in essentially realtime in the direction of the three coordinates X, Y, Z of the magnetic field acting on the object moving along a controlled trajectory and by comparing the measurement results to a magnetic footprint recorded in advance and also by deducing as a result of the comparison the exact location of the object on its path of travel.

The object of the invention is a method and an apparatus for cutting a tree. In the method a delimbing & crosscut device (1) cutting branches and able to cut the trunk of a tree is controlled upwards along the trunk of a tree intended to be removed and when it ascends to cut the branches of the tree that are in its way. The delimbing & crosscut device (1) is controlled to ascend and descend along the trunk of the tree step-by-step by alternately increasing and shortening the length of the delimbing & crosscut device (1). In connection with the removal of a tree that is in an inclined position, such as a tree that has fallen onto an electric line, a pulling rope (7) is fixed to the delimbing & crosscut device (1) for pulling said rope up into the tree, by means of which pulling rope (7) the tree is pulled upright or off the electric line.
