Abstract:
A false twist texturing machine is modified to enable it to operate at very high revolutions (e.g. above 20,000RPM), i.e. processing rates with high linear threadline speeds (above 2000 M/Min). The friction disc stack is provided with a drive motor for each spindle shaft. For safety at high RPMs, the stack is encased in a protective housing which can absorb energy of flying parts in the event of breakage. Heat is supplied to the thread by non-contact heating (convection and/ or radiation) in an insulated space, the thread preferably being guided through the heated space by positively driven godet units. The thread path is so arranged that positive forwarding elements are provided at each diverting location, so that no passive guides or feeding nips are required. A special start-up procedure enables establishment of a stable threadline at relatively slow processing speed followed by acceleration to the set operating speed.

Abstract:
A process for controlling a fibre processing installation which comprises a series of processing stages in order to provide fibre material in the form of a predetermined web, whereby the properties of this web may be influenced by suitable selectively applicable processing of the fibre material on passing through the installation and whereby, in at least one intermediate stage, a determinable property of the intermediate product and thus a corresponding property of the web may be established. In this intermediate stage a signal is obtained which corresponds to the determinable property and which is used to control the previous stages.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The weft thread (1) is drawn off the spool (2) with the aid of a thread store (3), whereupon it passes through a yarn tension device (4) and the inventive thread force sensor (5). The force that is exerted on the weft thread is measured in a manner known per se by deflecting said thread, whereby the reaction force (7) of the thread is converted by the pressure-sensitive element (6) into an electric signal (13). The electric signal (13) delivered by the thread force sensor (5) is electronically amplified in the evaluation unit (14) and emitted in the form of a signal (15) on a display (16) which is oriented by an operator during the course of the weft thread and makes the operator aware of disturbances and corrections thereof. The evaluation unit (14) is connected via a data line (17) to the machine control system (19) which supplies it with time signals for other machine functions, e.g. the momentary angle position of the main shaft of the machine, that are involved with said weft insertion. The machine control system receives monitoring signals from the thread force sensor via the data line (18), e.g. in order to bring about a sudden halt if the thread breaks during weft insertion or to activate a machine-related means of alarm in the case of a disturbance, thus requiring the intervention of an operator.
Abstract:
The method according to the invention relates to the use of a pair comprising a permanent magnet with a high coercive force and a permanent pole-reversible magnet with a low coercive force which are used in the securing members in co-operation with wedging members (17, 18). The device also comprises a release device (2), with a securing member (1) inserted, and a combined control and feed device (3) and a verification device, in the form of a till (4). The entire release means can therefore be, for example, directly linked to invoicing for a paid sum. The control and feed device (3) controls and feeds the electromagnet coil (23) of the magnetising device (20). To release a securing member (1), the magnetising device (20) is activated, thereby reversing the poles of the permanent pole-reversible magnet. Both permanent magnets in the securing member subsequently repel, the wedge is released and the pin can be withdrawn from the locking section.
Abstract:
The description relates to a device for air conditioning control in an air-conditioned room containing textile machines, especially circular spinning and spooling machines, with an air feed (5) and an air discharge duct (6) connecting the air-conditioned room (1) to the air conditioning unit (16). A first set of sensors (28) for measuring the temperature and relative humidity of the air in the room is connected for control purposes to a first regulating circuit (31), and a second set of sensors (27) for measuring the temperature and relative humidity of the feed air is connected for control purposes to a second regulating circuit (32). The first and second regulating circuits (31, 32) are connected in cascade, the first regulating circuit (31) supplying a reference value (Z-ref) to the second regulating circuit (32) which controls the adjusting components of the air conditioning unit (16).
Abstract:
A ring spinning frame has at least one group of equidistant spinning stations (11), a doffing device (14) for simultaneous interchange of bobbins (15) filled with yarn and empty bobbins (16) at each spinning station (11) and an endless conveyor (17) which runs past the spinning stations (11) and is automatically returned from one end of the groups of spinning stations (12) to the other. Vertical bobbin spindles (13) are mounted on the endless conveyor (17) at a distance from the spinning stations (11) such that when the bobbins on the endless conveyor (17) are doffed each spinning station (11) is aligned exactly with the corresponding bobbin spindle (13). Each bobbin spindle (13) is arranged on its own spindle carriage (18). Each spindle carriage (18) can be engaged with a corresponding driver (19) which is mounted in a position on the endless conveyor (17) such that when the driver (19) is engaged with the corresponding spindle carriage (18), the bobbin spindle (13) of this spindle carriage (18) is aligned exactly with the corresponding spinning station (11) in the doffing position of the endless conveyor (17).

Abstract:
An instrument for measuring magnetic fields is characterized by an automatic zero point adjustment during initial operation, an automatic measurement range selection, an automatic switching of the display from a time-constant field to an alternating field and an optional peak value display. The instrument is operated by means of a single push-button arranged on the probe body. The type of field is indicated by a multicoloured signal lamp on the probe.
