The present invention discloses a method for identifying and ranking elements or components present in a computing environment with limited resources using a customizable staggered filtering approach. The method comprises steps of retrieving and analyzing historical data including data on frequency of use and measurement reading from database (100); generating fuzzy classes with a set of thresholds (200); determining fuzzy class and confidence level by way of comparing the data on frequency of use and the data on measurement reading of the elements or components against the set of thresholds (300); and correspondingly combining the fuzzy class of the data on frequency of use with the fuzzy class of the data on measurement reading to obtain a ranking list according to combination metric defined for each fuzzy class combination (400).

The invention provides a method and system for providing a content list based on a search query. The method and system generally require that one or more domains associated with the search query be identified by a data classifier (104), so as to enrich the search query using domain knowledge of the identified domains. Based on the enriched query, contents may be crawled by a data collector (102) from a plurality of websites if they are found to be associated with the enriched query. Later, the crawled contents are classified into various categories based on named entities extracted from the contents. The classified contents are subjected to deduplication, in order to eliminate or remove duplicative contents, before they can be displayed to the user.

The present invention relates to a system and method for dynamically managing resource provision allocation. The system is able to manage cloud computing resource provision allocation by identifying categorization of each application by utilizing a Dynamic Cloud Resource Provision Management, DCRPM (5). The DCRPM (5) further comprising an identifier module (10) for identifying and collecting the applications based on functionality by establishing weightage for each application and capture parameter for each application; a checker and filter module (20) for obtaining the pattern of resources by performing a filtering; an evaluator module (30) for matching and comparing the applications wherein the steps of comparing is done by comparing at least two applications with the external characteristic; and a recommender module (40) for providing decision table for selecting VM or container by classifying the applications and combining the functionality of each applications with external influence characteristic.

The present disclosure relates to the field of automated identification plate recognition, and more particularly relates to automated identification plate recognition based on background estimation binarization. In an aspect, the present disclosure relates to a system for detecting and recognizing a vehicle identification plate, wherein system includes a plate detection module configured to detect location of the plate; a plate segmentation module that configured to segment characters in the detected plate into respective individual entities; a plate recognition module configured to recognize the individual entities of the detected plate as alphabets or numerals; and a plate post-analyzer module configured to determine full text of the detected plate, wherein the characters are segmented by the plate segmentation module by applying background estimation binarization in order to obtain the respective individual entities.

This disclosure describes a system and method for detecting objects from at least an image. Such invention is useful in detecting vehicle license plate and identifying the characters on the license plate. The method comprises steps of conducting edge-based technique (210) on the image for identifying Binary Large Objects (BLOBs) that potentially represent the objects upon binarizing the image; performing dynamic dilation (220) that determines different bodies of which the objects are respectively located thereon for identifying BLOBs of different objects that appear in a single image; applying group-based filtering (230) on the BLOBs that groups similar BLOBs and filters away unwanted noise for determining entirety of the BLOBs for each object; and aggregating the groups of BLOBs that belong to the same object (240). The aggregated BLOBs are representations of each object that are individually, and entirely or substantially entirely detected from the images despite having gaps in between the different bodies or spaces, or in between both of the different bodies and spaces on each object. Furthermore, this invention enables multiple objects to be detected from a single image.

The present invention relates to the sensing instruments and methods for measuring the phase measurement of an analyte more particularly, to a system and method for measuring a fluorescence emission signal with phase correction in phase fluorometric. One of the advantages of the present invention is that the system and method removes the effect of reflected excitation light source incident on the photodetector (216) and deriving accurate reference phase without using an optical filter or requiring matching excitation and reference/auxiliary light source modulation characteristics or matching light source driver electrical circuits. Another advantage of the system and method of the present invention is that it takes into account all components of system delays from light source drivers to the photodetector (216) output as compared to the conventional correction. Moreover, the system and method of the present invention is able to remove interfering component within the same frequency.
