Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for producing wrapped bales. Bales (3) are in a first wrapping stage moved past wrapping means (6) while said wrapping means (6) provided with dispenser means (4) are rotated around said bale (3) along a circular path in a first plane of rotation. In a further optional second stage of wrapping said bale (3) is rotated by rotating means in a second plane of rotation substantially normal to said first plane of rotation. Between said stages the surface of the wrapping material web is turned about 90 such that said surface of said web is always substantially normal to said planes of rotation in both stages. The first wrapping stage includes using of a tunnel means (9), which makes it possible to produce both unbound wrapped bales and bound wrapped bales.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for operating a machine (1), which consumes a material (4) during operation that can be predefined in material units (9) and which can be operated in at least one first operating mode, in which the material (4) is consumed. Said machine is characterised in that a material unit (9) comprises an identification (5) at least containing identification data, said identification data being read and a check being made as to whether the identification data can be assigned to a predefinable release quantity. The machine (1) is operated in a first operating mode, if the identification data can be assigned to the release quantity. The method and device according to the invention advantageously permit machines (1) to be controlled that consume a material (4) in the form of a material unit (9) during operation. The material is consumed in accordance with the identification data that is stored by the identification unit (5). The quality of the operation of the machine (1) can be guaranteed by the prevention of a defective operation caused by the use of an incorrect material (4). Another application for the invention is to guarantee that machines (1) of this type, such as stretch wrap machines, can only be operated using the materials, e.g. stretch film, of a specific supplier (4).
Abstract:
An apparatus for wrapping objects (50) comprises ring means (2), which is rotatable around a rotating axis (R) and which supports a reel unit (3) arranged for wrapping a film (25) on said objects (50), said reel unit (3) being associated with respective cutting means (15) suitable for cutting said film (25) , characterised in that said apparatus comprises at least a further reel unit (4) supported by said ring means (2), arranged for wrapping a further film (26) on said objects (50) and cooperating with further cutting means (16) suitable for cutting said further film (26) .
Abstract:
This invention relates to a spiral wrapping method for wrapping of a roll (11) of material, such as a paper roll. A wrapper web (19) is wound helically around the perimeter of the roll (11) to be wrapped at the end (18) of the roll to be wrapped. The invention furthermore relates to a wrapping (13) in which a first wrapper web (15) is wound around the side surface (14) of the roll and a second, helically advancing wrapper web (19) is wound at the end (18) of the roll.
Abstract:
The invention relates to packaging (1) for the padded, shock-resistant wrapping of articles (9) ready for dispatch. The invention also relates to a cut-out (2), a method and a device for producing packaging (1) of this type which consists of an internal packing (11) intended for an outer envelope (12) receiving same. A flexible padding/holding section (60) which contacts the article to be packaged (9) is embodied by a closed twist (6) which holds said article (9) in place. The twist (6) is preferably a spiral twist and tightly closed such that it elastically absorbs any shocks. A spring-elastic padding (4) integrated in the packaging (1) is preloaded by the fact that the twist (6) engages at least one padding section (31, 321) in such a way that said padding section (31, 321) is held in a displaced position against a restoring force. According to said method characteristics (K) of the article to be packaged are detected and used to control the degree of twist (68) so as to adjust the holding force and/or elasticity of elongation of the twist (6) and thus to ensure that the packaging (1) with integrated preloaded padding (4) has the shock-absorbing effect appropriate for the article (9) to be packaged. The invention also relates to a device for carrying the said method which comprises electronic connecting and processing means for controlling the degree of twisting (68).
Abstract:
Packaging method in extensible film of groups of products (11) advancing in pairs of adjacent products, keeping them thus ordered and spaced; feeding and passing the groups of ordered products into a first ring winding unit (14) of extensible film and winding the groups of products (11) in a first film in a first rotation direction forming a continuous packaging or bundle; advancing and feeding the groups of products already wound in the first winding unit with a first film to a second ring winding unit (15) of extensible film in a second film in a second rotation direction opposite to the first rotation direction, forming a continuous packaging with two layers of film wound in opposite directions; advancing and feeding the continuous packaging into a cutting unit (16), which moves in synchrony with said continuous packaging and which cuts the continuous packaging transversally into finished groups of products (11); being, upstream of said first ring winding unit (14), said two rows of products ordered into groups of products (11), spaced apart and separate from each other, after which said groups of separate spaced products are subjected to the subsequent steps of the method; being said winding step of said groups of products in said film in said two ring winding units (14, 15), selectively and alternately actuated by means of one of two ring winding machines (32) provided for each of said two ring winding units (14, 15) thus effecting a continuous winding of groups of products also in the exhaustion phase of said film in at least one of said two ring winding machines (32) provided for each of said two ring winding units (14, 15). A packaging machine is also provided in extensible film of products (11) fed forwards in groups in pairs of adjacent products (11) comprising an ordering unit (13) for two continuous rows of groups of adjacent products (11) and keeping them thus ordered, a first ring winding unit (14) and a second ring winding unit (15) which effects a winding in an opposite direction with respect to that of the first winding unit (14), a cutting unit (16) of the continuous packaging thus formed to create finished groups of products (11), wound in an extensible film of plastic material and forming a final packaging, wherein both the ring winding units (14, 15) each provide two ring winding machines (32) that can be selectively and alternatively actuated to form the continuous packaging.
