Device for plugging the top of a fuel tank filler pipe (1) situated under a fuel filler flap (2), the movement of which is controlled by an actuator (3). The device comprises a stopper (4) secured to the fuel filler flap (2) and able to plug the top of the pipe (1) and a locking mechanism (5) for locking the stopper (4). The actuator (3) is able to activate the locking mechanism (5) that locks the stopper (4) independently of the movement of the filler flap (2).

A refuelling system for a vehicle having a combustion engine, the refuelling system comprising - a fuel tank (1); - a canister (2) which is adapted to adsorb fuel vapour generated inside the fuel tank (1); - a canister drain cut valve (3) coupled to the canister (2) and adapted to discharge air; - an ignition sensor (4) adapted to detect whether the ignition of the combustion engine is switched on or off; and - a refuelling controller (5) adapted to open the canister drain cut valve (3) when the ignition sensor (4) detects that the ignition of the combustion engine is switched off. Method for refuelling a motor vehicle using said refuelling system.

Method for fixing a component (2, 3) onto a plastic fuel tank (1) produced as a single piece by moulding, the said method comprising the following steps : a parison is introduced into a mould; it is pressed against the mould; at least part of the component is introduced into the parison and secured thereto; the tank is removed from the mould; an opening is made in the tank; the part of the component is detached from the tank through the said opening; this part of the component is fixed to the opening of the tank by means of an assembly member.

Réservoir comprenant des parois étanches pour contenir un liquide, une des parois (10) formant un fond du réservoir, le fond (10) du réservoir comportant une pluralité de cloisons (C1, C2, C3) délimitant entre elles des zones (Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4) incluses successivement les unes à l'intérieur des autres, chacune des zones étant en communication avec une zone incluse adjacente par l'intermédiaire d'un passage (P12, P23, P34) comportant un seuil (S12, S23, S34). Le seuil du passage entre une zone et une zone incluse adjacente constitue un point bas de ladite zone et un point haut de la zone incluse adjacente et que, pour une zone donnée. Method for controlling a filling operation of a vehicular liquid storage system comprising a tank equipped with a fill level limiting valve. The method comprises: detecting the start of a first filling event; measuring a first fill level of said tank; verifying whether said measured first fill level has reached a predetermined fill level; if said verifying is positive, starting a first timer for a first amount of time; upon expiry of said first timer, closing said fill level limiting valve.

It is proposed a vehicular liquid containment system comprising a tank (1), a pressure sensor (7) arranged to detect a pressure in, vapor dome inside the tank (1), at least two thermistors arranged to detect temperatures at a plurality of levels of the tank (1), and leak detection logic operatively connected to the pressure sensor (7) and the thermistors. The leak detection logic is configured to: - use a first thermistor (3") of the thermistors to perform a first measurement indicative of a temperature in a vapor dome in the tank (1); - estimate an expected pressure evolution in function of at least the first temperature measurement; - monitor pressure sensed by the pressure sensor (7), - determine whether the monitored pressure deviates from the expected pressure evolution, and - generate a leak condition signal, conditional on said determining.

It is proposed a vehicle storage system, comprising: • a tank (1) adapted to contain vapour or liquid and vapour, and • a gas convertor (3) for chemically converting at least one part of the vapour contained in the tank into liquid reaction products; • the gas convertor is such that it contains, in use, a biological catalyst for the conversion of the vapour.
