본 발명의 폴리케톤으로 제조하는 제조방법에 따르면, 사출성형기를 통해 상부커버 및 하부커버를 사출성형하는 커버 사출단계; 상기 커버 사출단계를 통해 사출성형된 상부커버와 하부커버를 상하부에 각각 배치하여 조립하는 커버 조립단계; 및 상기 커버 조립단계에서 조립된 상부커버와 하부커버가 맞닿는 접촉면을 레이저로 융착시키는 커버 융착단계;를 포함한다. 본 발명의 효과는, 상하부커버 2개의 부품을 동시 성형하여 취출 후 기계를 통해 조립 후 바로 융착을 진행함으로 자동화가 가능한 구조이며 대량 생산이 가능할 뿐만 아니라, 획기적 원가 절감이 가능한 동시에, 별도의 보강물 없이 폴리케톤 원재료 강성만으로 필요 강성을 만족함에 따라 연료 탱크 경량화가 가능한 폴리케톤으로 제조된 연료탱크 및 이를 제조하는 제조방법을 제공할 수 있다.

Advantageously, each manually operable retention device comprises a clamp mechanism comprising a lever arm and clamp arm arranged so that the clamp arm is rotated between a release position and a clamp position by manual operation of the lever arm and the clamp mechanism is effective to resist forces acting on the clamp arm to rotate the clamp arm to the release position when the clamp arm is in the clamp position. Each manually operable retention device is retained with an associated mating mold component when a neck insert mold component is removed from or installed to the mold assembly.
