A stretching device comprises a wearable body harness with an adjustable central hold arranged around the upper body connected with an adjustable extension strap configured to engage a foot at a distal end. The extension strap is slidably connected to the central strap to move along the length of the central strap. The extension strap comprises a non-elastic material, divided by a single elastic segment. The extension strap having incremental markings designating amount of adjustment. The device and method of using the device provides a comfortable tension, facilitates hands free stretching in the supine position, improving duration of stretching and range of motion. An independent adjustable stretching strap for upper body and shoulder stretching, further comprises a non-elastic material looped at each distal end, divided by a discrete elastic segment and having incremental visual markings designating amount of adjustment.

A device (900) includes a leg engaging section (101) and a foot engaging section (102) intersecting at a heel receiver (103). The leg engaging section and the foot engaging section defining a leg insertion aperture (104). A first compression wrap member (301) and a second compression wrap member (302) extend from the leg engaging section. An inflatable bladder (501) can be disposed along the leg engaging section between the leg insertion aperture and a compressible cushion layer (902). The inflatable bladder can be selectively inflatable through a connection tube (502) exiting the inflatable bladder at a non-orthogonal angle (504) relative to an edge (507) of the inflatable bladder. The leg engaging section can define at least one channel (1002) to permit the connection tube to exit the device.

Described are improved apparatus and devices for intermittently and sequentially compressing a body site and methods for using said apparatus and devices, especially for site specific treatment to achieve a desired temperature of the underlying tissue. The apparatus includes a first segment cooperative with a fluid chamber, the fluid chamber adapted for inflation by fluid; and a second segment cooperative with the first segment, the second segment housing a temperature sensitive material, wherein the temperature sensitive material is uniquely compartmentalized in the second segment.

The present invention relates to a pillow-type massage device for massaging acupuncture points of the body, comprising: a main body, the interior of which has a space, and in the center of a surface of which plurality of first through-holes corresponding to the acupuncture points of the occipital area of a user are formed; a first massage plate which is arranged in the space of the main body, and which has equally-spaced first massage protrusions which are movable between a retracted position and an extended position through the respective first through-holes; first elevating means arranged in the space of the main body to elevate the first massage plate such that the first massage protrusions move between the retracted position and the extended position through the respective first through-holes; a controller for controlling the first elevating means; and power supply means for supplying power for driving the controller. The massage device of the present invention effectively massages acupuncture points of the head of the user to promote blood circulation and fatigue relief. The massage device of the present invention has a blower fan for circulating external air through the inside of the massage device, and thus enables users to have a sound sleep. The blower fan discharges, through the upper surface of the massage device, air introduced into the massage device, to enable users to feel refreshed and to have a sound sleep.

A limited durability fastening for a garment. The garment is provided with fastening members which engage to close the fastening and the fastening members are provided with means for controlling the degradation of the closure strength of the fastening as it is opened and closed and thus the number of permissible closures of the fastening having a pre-determined closure strength. The garment is particularly useful when fitted to a foot where short life is desirable at low cost or to a garment where re-use is to be discouraged for either clinical or commercial reasons.

A compression treatment system (10) is provided that includes a first bladder (46a, 46b, 46c, 48a, 48b, 48c) supported about a limb. A second bladder is supported about the limb. The bladders are in fluid communication with a fluid source (50) and the bladders are inflated such that the first bladder is inflated for a first time period and the second bladder is inflated for a second time period. The second time period is initiated within the first time period. A single pressure sensor communicates with the first bladder and the second bladder.
