The creative composition engine includes at least one vault having media assets, wherein the media assets include at least one avatar and at least one environment for placement of the at least one avatar, and a receiver for receiving at least one request for a creative. The request for creative may include a composition request for the at least one avatar, and a request for at least one other of the media assets. The at least one avatar may be a composed creative responsive to the at least one request for a creative, and wherein the composed creative further includes the at least one other of the media assets.

A digital video recorder is disclosed which includes at least one memory device, a plurality of communication access points for receiving at least one program play, all open application programming interface associated with the at least one memory device, and at least one correlation engine in communication with the open application programming interface. The plurality of applications correspondent to the open application programming interface allow a user to manipulate metadata associated with one of the programs played and the metadata relates to interframe interactivity with detailed aspects of the program played. The at least one correlation engine provides for correlation among at least the interframes of the program played to one of the interframes of other one of the program played, and among the interframe interactivity to the interframes of the program played to interframe interactivity with the other ones of the interframes of the other program played.

A computer-implemented method for monitoring the effectiveness of advertisements broadcast is described. The method includes detecting that an advertisement has been aired by a broadcast station, monitoring a network for a duration subsequent to the airing of the advertisement for activity attributable to the airing of the advertisement, and developing a quantitative relationship between the activity and a number of listeners of the advertisement.

A method for capturing a broadcast is disclosed. The method for capturing a broadcast includes detecting an approximate start time of the broadcast, wherein said detecting includes monitoring for a broadcast trigger, identifying the broadcast and a timed length thereof, such that, based on the timed length and the approximate start time, an approximate end time may be calculated, and recording the broadcast from the trigger to the approximate end time, wherein said recording has captured the broadcast of radio advertising.
