A modular latch for an automotive vehicle is provided. It includes a latch core (a housing and a ratchet and pawl rotatably mounted to the housing), a mounting plate that secures the latch core to the vehicle. The latch core can use any of a plurality of different mounting plates for a lift gate latch, a decklid latch, and a sliding door latch; A latch module is mounted to the latch core to provide different functional including a manual release latch module, a power release latch module, a power lock and unlock latch module, and a power cinching and release latch module. The latch core may fit a more or less universal envelope. The latch may employ one or more status sensors. Those status sensors may sense striker position, and may not necessarily include any sensors mounted to monitor ratchet position. The latch may include a layered latch core in which one or more sensor members move in different planes from the pawl and ratchet.

An automobile outer door handle, comprising a lever-shaped handle portion which is manually gripped from the door's outer side and which is fitted with at least one bearing element resting in pivotably manner on a mating bearing element of the door and is coupled by a linkage to a door lock in a manner that, when this lock shall open when the handle portion is pivoted out of a rest position into an open position, an inertial mass being supported in excursion-limited manner in the region of the swivel bearing of the handle portion in a similar direction as the handle portion, said inertial mass locking in one limit position (blocked position) the handle portion into the rest position whereas releasing it in the other limit position (release position) and being moved into the blocked position when a predetermined transverse acceleration acts on the automobile to exert an opening force on the handle portion.

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Staufach für ein Kraftfahrzeug mit einem Behälter (110) und einem an dem Behälter schwenkbar angeordneten Behälterdeckel (112), einem an dem Behälterdeckel angeordnetem Schwenkhebel (116), einem ersten elastischen Element (120), dessen erstes Ende (122) mit dem Behälter und dessen zweites Ende (118) mit dem Schwenkhebel verbunden ist, so dass das erste elastische Element eine Schließkraft und/oder ein Schließmoment auf den Behälterdeckel ausübt, einem Verriegelungselement (126), welches schwenkbar gelagert ist, so dass es aufgrund seiner Massenträgheit bei einem Aufprall des Kraftfahrzeugs in eine Verriegelungsposition zur Arretierung des Schwenkhebels gebracht wird, wobei das Verriegelungselement um das erste Ende des ersten elastischen Elements schwenkbar gelagert ist, wobei es sich bei dem ersten elastischen Element um eine Totpunktfeder handelt, und wobei die Totpunktfeder so ausgebildet ist, dass sie die Schließkraft und/oder das Schließmoment solange ausübt, bis eine Öffnungsstellung des Behälterdeckels einen Totpunkt (155) nicht überschreitet.

A latch with dual rotary magnets is disclosed. The latch is particularly suited for releasably securing dual doors of a compartment in the closed position. Each rotary magnet holds in a closed position a magnetic insert attached to a respective door by magnetic attraction to secure both doors in the closed position relative to the compartment. Mechanical hook-like rotary pawls supplement the action of the magnets. In addition, the latch is provided with a safety feature that prevents the latch from opening in the event that the vehicle in which the latch is installed is involved in a collision.

L'invention concerne une poignée de porte, en particulier de véhicule automobile, comportant un levier (105) qui peut tourner autour d'un premier axe (107) dans un châssis (101) destiné à être fixé à la porte (102) et est connecté mécaniquement à un agencement mobile capable d'être intercepté par un élément de verrouillage articulé au châssis (101) ou à un corps solidaire du châssis de façon à pivoter autour d'un troisième axe (117) d'une position de repos vers une position active, de telle sorte que, lors d'un pivotement violent de cet élément de verrouillage (116), il heurte ledit agencement et empêche son déplacement. The invention relates to a closing device, especially for doors, flaps and the like, of motor vehicles, especially of passenger cars, comprising a hinged rotary latch (2) that interacts with a locking pin (7), a detent pawl (11) detachably locking the rotary latch (2), and an actuator (18, 20, 21, 24) that acts upon the rotary latch (2) and the detent pawl (11) via a rotationally driven control element (21) to open or close the closing device (1). The control element (21) driven in a direction of rotation performs both the closing and the opening process by acting upon the rotary latch (2) and the detent pawl (11). Advantageously, the control element comprises an ejection device (32) that disengages the locking pin (7) from the closing device (1) when the closing device is opened.

A door fitting has the grip (15) on one side and the support (25) on the other of the opposing sides (34, 36) of the external skin (35) of a door. The support has the bearing axle (40). The arms (11, 12) of the grip are threaded through two openings (37, 38) in the outer skin (35) of the door and connected to the bearing arms (21, 22) by means of couplings (41, 51) and the fit secured by means of a screw. According to the invention, in order to be able to use the fitting with any shapes of door, the interconnection of the couplings (41, 51) between the grip and the bearing arms (11, 12; 21, 22) occurs at both ends in one and the same coupling plane, which runs essentially perpendicular to the plane (35) of the door. The one type of couplings are thrust members (41), which on gripping permit a rotation (46) of the grip (15) in the coupling plane, about a rotation axis (45), running essentially perpendicular to the coupling plane. The other couplings are pins (51) which are interconnected essentially perpendicular to the plane (35) of the door.
