In some embodiments, a network device publishes a test service profile to a group of communications devices, in which the test service profile provides for beta testing of the test service profile for a service on a network, and the test service profile includes service policy settings; and monitors use of the service by the group of communications devices based on the test service profile.

More specifically the application describes a business method of distributing coupons in the form of text messages, bar codes or a multimedia message service (MMS) message to mobile telephones. A network entity (406) may receive a telephone number from a mobile device operated by a caller. The network entity may obtain identifying information about a target service provider, i.e. business (408) as a function of the dialed telephone number. Using the identifying information about the business, the network entity may obtain a coupon (414, 416, 418). The network entity then may send the coupon to the mobile device (420).

The recommender system comprises: terminals connected to a service server with two or more mobile communication devices, said terminals connected to mobile communication devices via a Local Area Network and which play back content requested and received from an application server; said mobile communication devices further connected to a service server via a mobile network in order to transmit data between said terminals and said service server; said service server further connected to an application server via a mobile or a cable network, to reference the connection log between said terminals and said mobile communications devices and provide said terminals with information on mobile communication devices capable of achieving optimal connection, or information on mobile communications devices capable of achieving optimal connection based on the hardware specifications of the mobile communications devices capable of connecting to said terminals.

A particular system includes an access interface to receive a data message including a destination address from a mobile communication device. The system also includes a communication bridge responsive to the access interface. The communication bridge initiates a first call to the mobile communication device and initiates a second call to the destination address in response to the data message. The communication bridge bridges the first call to the second call.

The present invention relates to a system and a method for providing a service to an end terminal that uses authentication information of another mobile communication terminal, to a service server, to a mobile communication terminal, to an end terminal, and to a storage medium. The present invention enables the end terminal to use a service even when the authentication information of the end terminal is not the authentication information of the mobile communication terminal currently connected to the end terminal. The system of the present invention comprises an end terminal, a second mobile communication terminal, and a service server. The end terminal is connected to a first mobile communication terminal and to the second mobile communication terminal through a local area network, and connected to the service server through the second mobile communication terminal, and uses the service by using the authentication information of the first mobile communication terminal. The second mobile communication terminal is connected to the end terminal through the local area network, and connected to the service server through a mobile communication network, and connects the end terminal that uses the authentication information of the first mobile communication terminal to the service server. The service server is connected to the first mobile communication terminal and to the second mobile communication terminal through the mobile communication network, and performs authentication to enable the end terminal that uses the authentication information of the first mobile communication terminal to use the service through the second mobile communication terminal.
