Each circuit consists of passages forming the longitudinal section of the circuit and formed in two adjacent modules, said passages being connected at their ends by curved sections. The adjacent modules include support surfaces so they can be arranged next to each other. A projecting portion (23) is inserted into a longitudinal window (6) which is shaped to receive the needle (2) as well. The needle (2) is arranged in recesses (44 and 45), retains the balls in their circuits and holds the modules together. The modules are produced by injection in a mould having one slide acting in a single direction, whereas the balls and needles are components of a known kind.

Counter-tracks (23, 24) are provided on the running rail (17). The roller body holding devices have spaces (32) on both sides running parallel to the track. The roller body holding devices are fed laterally into the longitudinal grooves (18, 19, 20, 21) at these spaces (32). This longitudinal bearing makes possible precise longitudinal guiding of elongated bearings, is very compact, easy and inexpensive to manufacture, and can be adapted to any length of support.
