The present invention relates to a streaming apparatus, and a method in a network system, comprising at least a first and a second streaming apparatus (1001, 1002) for data streaming, each being adapted to upload and store media data, comprising a plurality of media data compositions, for example representing movies and/or TV channels, the network system further comprising a plurality of user devices (11). The method comprises the first streaming apparatus (1001) receiving a plurality of streaming requests from a plurality of the user devices (11), the first streaming apparatus (1001) determining whether to stream media data compositions according to the streaming requests, sending, if the first streaming apparatus (1001) determines not to stream a media data composition, the corresponding streaming request to the second streaming apparatus (1002), the first streaming apparatus (1001) creating request information related to streaming requests received by the first streaming apparatus (1001), and the first streaming apparatus (1001) determining, based at least partly on the request information, whether to npload and store a further media data composition (Mnpq).

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Kollisionsvermeidung von Fahrzeugen (1) mit Objekten unter Verwendung von Sensorsystemen (4) zur Abstandsmessung mit folgenden Verfahrensschritten: a) Messung des Abstandes von außerhalb des Fahrzeugs (1) angeordneten Objekten (7) zu am Fahrzeug angeordneten Sensoren (4); b) Bestimmung des Fahrwegs basierend auf der aktuellen Lenkrichtung (2) des Fahrzeugs (1); c) Bestimmung, ob das Fahrzeug (1) mit einem durch die Sensoren (4) detektierten Objekt (7) durch die Lenkrichtung (2) vorgegebenen Fahrweg kollidiert; d) Anzeige im Fahrzeug (1), ob das Fahrzeug (1) mit einem durch die Sensoren (4) detektierten Objekt bei beibehaltenem bestimmten Fahrweg kollidiert. Die vorliegende Erfindung eignet sich besonders für Geschwindigkeiten, die kleiner oder gleich der Schrittgeschwindigkeit sind. Den vollen Nutzen im Hinblick auf die Warnfunktion bringt das System vor allem bei Einparkvorgängen oder in Situationen, in denen es darauf ankommt, ein Fahrzeug auf eng begrenztem Verkehrsraum sicher zu bewegen.

The invention involves a method for simultaneous communication sessions each involving sending a data composition (9a, 9b) to a respective of a plurality of remote units (11a, 11b) through a communication network, the data compositions being stored in a storage unit (7). The method comprises receiving from the storage streams of data composition sub-sets (91a, 92a, 923a, 91b), and providing for each of the sessions a data queue (12a, 12b), and storing data of the streams of data composition sub-sets in the queues. The method further comprises providing acknowledgement pointers (Ack) at the queues, retrieving data portions from the queues and sending streams of the data portions to the respective remote units, receiving streams of acknowledgement data sets (ADS) from the respective remote units, from which acknowledgement data sets reception by the respective remote unit of data portions can be determined, and adjusting, upon receiving the acknowledgement data sets, the acknowledgement pointers at the queues corresponding to the remote units from which the acknowledgement data sets were received.
