    摘要: A structure comprising at least one coated optical fiber, wherein the outermost coating layer is a cured coating having (1) a surface slip of less than 15 N/cm ,(2) an ink adhesion according to JIS K5400 of 90 or more, wherein the coating composition comprises at least one radiation curable oligomer at least one reactive diluent and at least one silicone oligomer. Suitable silicone oligomers are a silicone compound (A1) containing no ehtylenically unsaturated double bond obtained by the reaction of (a) a hydroxyl group-containing polydimethylsiloxane compound, (b) a polyisocyanate compound, and (c) a hydroxyl group-containing compound other than the compound (a) having a molecular weigth of 80-100,000 and a silicone compound (A2) containing an ethylenically unsaturated double bond obtained by the reaction of (a) a hydroxyl group-containing polydimethylsiloxane compound, (b) a polyisocyanate compound, and (d) a hydroxyl group-containing compound other than the compound (a), having a (meth)acroyloyl group and a molecular weight of 500-100,000.

    摘要: The invention relates to an aqueous paper coating composition. Such a composition, applied to paper, is suitable in particular for printing of the paper. The paper coating composition contains between 0.01 and 100 wt. % of a highly branched polyester amide. The invention also relates to a process for the preparation of a composition according to the invention that also contains SMA in which an aqueous solution of SMA and a highly branched polyester amide is heated to at least 50 DEG C. The invention further relates to paper coated with a composition according to the invention.

    摘要: The extraction of a microbial or single cell oil, for example comprising one or more polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), directly from microbial cells is disclosed which avoids the need for solvents. After fermentation, the microbial cells are pasteurised, washed and the cell walls lysed or disrupted by a mechanical (e.g. homogenisation), physical (boiling or drying), chemical (solvents) or enzymatic (cell wall degrading enzymes) technique. The oil (containing the PUFA) is then separated from the resulting cell wall debris. This is achieved by centrifugation, which results is an oily phase (top layer) that contains the oil which that can be separated from an aqueous phase (containing the cell wall debris). The oil can then be extracted and if necessary the PUFA can be purified or isolated from the oil.
