Abstract:

A skincare product containing hermetia illucens extract is compsed of: 1) vitamin E at no more than 100 percent of weight; 2) oil or fat extract of hermetia illucens or hermetia illucens remains from which fat has been extracted for removed at 1 percent and up in weight, or oil or fat extract of hermetia illucens or remains of hermetia illucens from which fat has been extracted for removed at 100 percent of weight. The product is applied to skin nourishment.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a process for preparing an oilseed meal, preferably rapeseed meal with enriched content of proteins by sieving onto a classifying element with rectangular or elliptical holes, preferably rectangular holes and wherein the classifying element is oscillating, or vibrating. It further relates to the use of a frame comprising a classifying element for enriching the protein content in oilseed meal with at least 3% in comparison with original oilseed meal. It relates to poultry, pig feed or aqua feed containing the oilseed meal with enriched content of proteins.
Abstract:
The present disclosure describes an engineered microorganism for producing alpha omega bifunctional C6-16 fatty acids from renewable carbon sources.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method of increasing lipid accumulation in Metschnikowia pulcherrima (Candida pulcherrima) cells. In particular, the invention relates to a method of obtaining oil from yeast pulcherimma cells. The invention further relates to an oil and the use of pulcherimma cells for production of oleaginous biomass.
Abstract:
Abstract:

Abstract:
This invention relates to compositions comprising high lipid content algae and methods of making and utilizing the same. In particular, the invention relates to high lipid content algae biomass and algal lipid materials derived from the same, methods of making the same, as well as to biofuels (e.g., biodiesel) and dietary compositions (e.g., animal feeds) comprising or made from the same. Compositions and methods of the invention find use in a variety of applications including biofuel, dietary (e.g., human and animal nutrition), therapeutic as well as research applications.
Abstract:
An omega-3 oil concentrate comprising at least 70 weight percent of eicosapentaenoic acid ["EPA"; cis -5, 8, 11, 14, 17-eicosapentaenoic acid; omega-3], measured as a weight percent of oil, and substantially free of docosahexaenoic acid, said concentrate obtained from a microbial oil having 30 to 70 weight percent of eicosapentaenoic acid, measured as a weight percent of total fatty acids, and substantially free of docosahexaenoic acid and wherein said microbial oil is obtained from a microorganism that accumulates in excess of 25% of its dry cell weight as oil. Also disclosed are methods of making such eicosapentaenoic acid concentrates.
