The present invention relates to a potting method for a lamp chain. The method comprises the following steps: a) providing a mold (1) having a potting groove (2); b) providing a fixing support which is fixedly kept in the potting groove (2); c) fixedly keeping a printed circuit board (4) provided with a light emitting assembly (3) in the fixed support; d) potting a potting material (5) into the potting groove (2) and curing the potting material (5); and e) removing the mold (1). The lamp chain made through the above method has a good appearance, the printed circuit board provided therein is arranged in the finished lamp chain evenly, and also, the lamp chain has good waterproof performance.

The present application provides an illumination device, including: at least one first light-emitting unit; and at least one second light-emitting unit with a lower illumination power than that of the first light-emitting unit; wherein, the second light-emitting unit is arranged among the first light-emitting unit so that the illumination device is able to realize a uniform illumination.

The present invention relates to a method for making a lamp chain, comprising the following steps: a) providing a tooling (7) provided with a cavity (8) therein, wherein multiple lens-like holes (9) spaced apart from each other at a predetermined distance are formed in the bottom of the cavity (8); b) placing a circuit board (3) mounted with multiple illuminants (4) in the cavity (8) and keeping the circuit board (3) away from the bottom of the cavity (8) at a predetermined distance; wherein each lens-like holes (9) correspond to the positions of the each illuminants (4) at the circuit board (3); c) injecting glue into the cavity (8) until the glue fully fills the cavity (8); and d) solidifying the glue. The present invention also relates to a corresponding lamp chain. The present invention can realize at low cost and high efficiency optical properties of a lamp, especially adjustment of light distribution.

The present relates to an LED module (10), comprising a casing (1), LED light emitting assemblies and heat sinks (4) with the LED light emitting assemblies and the heat sinks (4) being provided in the casing (1) using a potting material, characterized in that the casing (1) has an opening opened to one side, and the heat sinks (4) are exposed through the opening. Through application of the LED module according to the present invention, it is much easier to dissipate the heat emitted by the LED light emitting assemblies themselves, and to obtain reliable IP protection level.

The present invention relates to an LED driver (2), characterized in that the LED driver (2) at least comprises a first LED driver module (3) and a second LED driver module (4), the first LED driver module (3) comprising a first electronic component (5) having a first characteristic, the second LED driver module (4) comprising a second electronic component (6) having a second characteristic different from the first characteristic, the first LED driver module (3) and the second LED driver module (4) being mechanically and electrically connected together. The present invention, by means of a modular design, enables an end user to rapidly replace the vulnerable electronic components in the LED driver, and can prolong the lifetime of the LED driver and the tube as well as corresponding luminaire. Moreover, using the modular concept makes it much easier in designing and manufacturing.
