The present invention relates to a housing (1) for an illuminating apparatus, comprising: two housing portions (2a, 2b) assembled together and a transparent cover (3), the two housing portions and the transparent cover (3) jointly defining a cavity, wherein a transparent separator (4) is provided in the cavity for separating the cavity into an assembling cavity (5) and a isolated cavity (6) sealed with respect to each other, and the assembling cavity (5) is configured to mount a plurality of lighting assemblies (9) of the illuminating apparatus, and the isolated cavity (6) is defined jointly by the transparent cover (3) and the separator (4). In addition, the present invention further relates to an illuminating apparatus having the housing of the above type.

A battery system for storing electrical power and supplying electrical power to a vehicle is provided. The system includes multiple battery packs, and each battery pack includes a plurality of cells (300a, 300b). The cells (300a, 300b) in each battery pack are electrically connected with one another and the multiple battery packs are also electrically connected with one another to combine the total energy output of the cells (300a, 300b) of the system. The electrical connections between at least some of the cells (300a, 300b) include a severable feature(800a, 800b), whereby the electrical connection is severed locally at the severable feature(800a, 800b) in response to an impact force that is in excess of a predetermined magnitude and/or an overcurrent/overtemperature condition.

The present invention relates to an illumination angle adjusting device (10), for an illuminating device (100) comprising a light source (4), characterized in that the illumination angle adjusting device (10) comprises a base accommodating the light source (4) and a rotatable optical device (2) mounted on the base and rotated with respect to the light source (4). The illumination angle adjusting device (10) of the present invention can adjust an illumination area merely by rotating a lens (12) and has the prominent advantage of convenient adjustment.

The present invention relates to a connector (1) for a lighting module, comprising: a base pad (2) electrically connected to a PCB board (3) of the lighting module, and at least one pair of brackets (4) extending upwardly from the base pad (2). The first pair of brackets (4a) in the at least one pair of brackets (4) is designed to be capable of cutting off the insulation layer of an electrical wire (5) when the electrical wire (5) is pressed between the first pair of brackets (4a) so as to form the electrical conductive connection with the electrical wire (5). With application of the connector in the present invention, a plurality of lighting modules can be electrically connected to the electrical wire without cutting off the electrical wire, therefore, the voltage drop from one lighting module to another lighting module is greatly reduced, and the fabricating process is simplified. In addition, the present further relates to a method for assembling a lighting system.

The present invention relates to a lighting device comprising an encapsulation material (1) and a lighting assembly encapsulated by the encapsulation material (1), wherein the lighting assembly comprises a printed circuit board (2), a light source mounted on one side of the printed circuit board (2) and a positioning means (5) mounted on the other side of the printed circuit board (2) for location on a mold (4) during encapsulation. The positioning means (5) is maintained on the lighting assembly after the encapsulation is completed to obtain a high IP protection level; moreover, the lighting device according to the present invention is encapsulated more simply and easily. In addition, the present invention further relates to an encapsulation method for the lighting device above.
