Abstract:
A process for packaging foodstuff products having a particular shape, representing, for example, fantasy human or animal characters, or again objects linked to traditions of festivals, such as Christmas bells or Easter eggs, in order to produce packages that reproduce on the outside exactly the particular shape thereof. The process described envisages the use of two sheets of wrapping material coupled together and is characterized in that a perimetral closing flange (6) is provided, which is folded on itself and is sealed along stretches (60).
Abstract:
Method for producing a hollow body formed by a pair of wafers (2, 2a), welded together along respective mating annular surfaces (4), by applying an aqueous moistening liquid to at least one of the mating surfaces of the wafers, previously subjected to baking, and by adhesion by mutual contact of said surfaces, characterized in that the moistening liquid is applied to said at least one surface in the form of separate and distinct droplets (G) by pulsed-jet deposition means, creating a relative motion between said jet deposition means and said wafers along the annular profile of said surfaces.
Abstract:
Process and corresponding apparatus for wrapping a product (P) in a wrapper of sheet material, adhering to the surface of the product, the process comprising the steps of: providing a first (2) and a second sheet (4) of wrapping material, shaping said first sheet (2) according to a cup-shaped configuration comprising a bottom portion (2a) substantially complementary to a bottom portion of the surface of the product, a tubular portion (2b) which extends above the top of the product when inserted in said so-shaped sheet and defining a mouth adapted for the introduction of the product and an annular flange terminal portion (2c) surrounding said mouth, introducing the product (P) in said first shaped sheet (2), and connecting said second sheet (4) to said annular flange (2c) so as to form a closed wrapper around said product. Following the introduction of the product and prior to connection of said second sheet (4) with said annular flange, it includes the operation to make a bottleneck of said tubular portion (2b) of said first sheet (2) in its region (2d) immediately above the top of the product, exerting on said annular flange (2c) a pressure suitable to bind the edges of flange (2c) or to limit its radial movement, so as to cause the adhesion of said tubular wall (2b) to a substantial portion of the top surface of the product.
Abstract:
A packaged food product comprising a tray (2) containing an edible composition having a layered structure, comprising: -at least one composite layer (24) comprising puffed cereal grains (G) embedded in a matrix of edible material (22); and -at least one edible coating layer (26) deposited on said composite layer (24) and preferably including chocolate. The matrix of edible material (22) has, in a temperature range of between 20°C and 40°C, and preferably also in the range of from 0°C to 40°C, a pasty consistency such as to maintain its own shape in unconfined conditions.
Abstract:
Packaging for a food product, comprising: a hollow body (1) made of alimentary material and formed by a pair of half-shells (2, 4) which have an opening with an ovoidal contour and are sealed together along the respective contours (6) of the opening, and including an accessory or surprise article (S, 8), and a cover wrapping (9) of said hollow body (1), which is formed by a pair of wrapping half-shells (10, 12) made of foil material, where each wrapping half-shell (10, 12) has a form matching the respective half-shell of alimentary material (2, 4) and has a respective flange (14, 16) surrounding and projecting from the contour (6) of its opening, and in which said wrapping half-shells (10, 12) are connected together, in a disengageable manner, by means of a mutual interference fit of said flanges (14, 16), said hollow body has a form with rotational symmetry about the greater axis of symmetry of said ovoidal contour; the plane defined by the sealed contours of the opening of said half-shells of alimentary material (2, 4) substantially coincides with the joining plane of said flanges (14, 16). The cover wrapping (9) of said hollow body (1) has signalling means (20, 22) which identify on the wrapping specific pressure areas where application of a pressure causes the separation of the wrapping half-shells (10, 12) and the half-shells of alimentary material (2, 4).
Abstract:
Described herein is a shuttle device for producing wrappers of sheet material (F) containing a product (P) with at least one fantail-twisted end obtained by twisting said sheet material (F). The shuttle (10) comprises a first part (112a, 112b) for receiving the product (P) located in the precursor of wrapper and at least one second part (212a, 212b; 312a, 312b) that grips on a respective part of precursor of wrapper (F). The first part (112a, 112b) and the second part (212a, 212b; 312a, 312b) of the shuttle (10) are able to turn with respect to one another about a given axis (X10) so as to produce at least one fantail-twisted end as a result of the twisting action imparted on the precursor of wrapper (F) following upon the relative movement of rotation about the aforesaid given axis (X10).
Abstract:
A container (1) for "surprises" for insertion in a case of ovoid form, the case including a substantially hemispherical part (A) and an ogive-like part. The container (1) has a shape given by the opposed juxtaposition of two tapered surfaces (B') each comprising a homothety of the ogive-like part (B) of the case (U) .
Abstract:
Foodstuff products (1) such as chocolates and the like are made through the steps of : making a shell (4) with a general cup-like configuration having a mouth rim (5); making a cap (6) for closing the shell (4) by pouring foodstuff in a mould (9); connecting the cap (6) to the shell (4) whilst the foodstuff poured into the mould (9) is in the molten state with a free inner surface that is substantially flat and and outer surface of a desired shape, by bringing about the connection of said cap (6) with the mouth rim (5) of said shell (4); and achieving consolidation of the cap (6) connected to the shell (4).
Abstract:
