Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a method for providing transport reliability. Data (205, 206) related to a vehicle (101) and goods carried by the vehicle (101) is received. One or more parameters related to an environment around the vehicle (101) is received. An impact of the one or more parameters on the goods and the vehicle (101) is analysed. A condition of the goods and the vehicle (101) is monitored, based on the impact of the one or more parameters. A feedback is generated to safeguard the goods and the vehicle (101), based on the monitoring of the condition of the goods and the vehicle (101).
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer-readable storage medium, including a method comprising: receiving a content item request from a resource, the resource associated with a resource sponsor; verifying the content item request including filtering out spam requests and determining if the content item request is valid; for any invalid requests, providing a content item in response to the content item request that is in conformance with an existing definition provided by the resource sponsor; and presenting information related to invalid requests to the resource sponsor in a user interface, the user interface including tools for enabling the resource sponsor to automatically accept and validate a content item request so that subsequent requests of the same type are validated upon receipt.
Abstract:
Interactive mesh deformation for in-plane 3D segmentation / delineation for radiation therapy planning done on a slice by slice basis of a region / a volume of interest (VOI, ROI). Segmentation starts by some automatic 3D algorithm approximating the organ surface roughly by some triangular surface mesh which mesh is afterwards manually refined by the user who deforms it to bring it closer to the region of interest. The deformation is an invertible, i.e. one-to-one, mapping avoiding self - intersections of the deformed mesh thereby preserving the topology of the anatomy. The deformation mapping involves a Gaussian function (Gaussian deformation kernel) restricting the deformation to a local region. The user picks with the pointer a start point on a selected image slice through the volume and moves it to some end point. The distance the mesh vertices move decreases exponentially with the distance to the start point. Additionally, surface mesh resolution is increased by iteratively subdividing mesh triangles in the vicinity of a user- selected contour in a surface mesh until every pixel or voxel contains at least one triangle vertex.

Abstract:
A method of purifying a capped poly(phenylene ether) includes mixing a poly(phenylene ether) capping reaction mixture comprising a capped poly(phenylene ether), a capping agent, a capping byproduct, a capping catalyst, and a poly(phenylene ether) solvent, and first washing solvents comprising a C1-C4 alkanol and water to form a first liquid phase comprising the capped poly(phenylene ether) and poly(phenylene ether) solvent, and a second liquid phase comprising C1-C4 alkanol and water; and separating the first liquid phase from the second liquid phase. Capped poly(phenylene ether) having reduced levels of residual capping agent, capping byproduct, and capping catalyst is produced from poly(phenylene ether) capping reaction mixtures by this method.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to catalysts for the production of hydrogen using the water gas shift reaction and the carbon dioxide reforming of hydrocarbon-containing fuels. The catalysts nickel and/or copper on a ceria/zirconia support, where the support is prepared using a surfactant templating method. The invention also includes processes for producing hydrogen, reactors and hydrogen production systems utilizing these catalysts.
Abstract:
A novel process and apparatus for producing metal nanoparticles by electro-explosion of wires is diclosed. The invention comprises placing a wire and a plate of the same material as two electrodes in a dense medium, preferably water, in such a manner so as to guide the wire in a straight line and applying a voltage of greater than 12V to said electrodes to cause the wire explode into nanoparticles.
