Abstract:
Embodiments herein relate generally to the field of footwear, and more particularly to components of performance footwear, such as midsoles, as well as methods of making midsoles. In various embodiments, multiple response property midsoles and/or portions of footwear are provided that may include strategically arranged multiple response property areas having blended transition zones disposed there between. Such blended transition zones may help facilitate a more fluid foot movement, improve manufacturing and production techniques, and prevent injury to the foot, ankle, and/or legs during exercise, such as running, hiking, walking, and other impact-generating activities.
Abstract:
Embodiments herein provide adhering "upperless" footwear. Such footwear is provided with adhesive or another surface element to secure the footwear to a wearer's foot during use. The adhesive may be formulated to allow the footwear to be secured to the wearer's foot in a removable and repeatable fashion.

Abstract:
A flexible beverage package includes a container having deformable walls for accommodating the beverage therein. A pictorial indicia is included on the container walls. Handle elements are positioned on the container walls for forming extending grasping members to allow grasping of the container without deforming the walls. The handle elements are incorporated into the pictorial indicia for forming an externally extending continuation of the pictorial indicia.
Abstract:
A data processing apparatus (200) is described having a first operational mode and a second operational mode comprising: a first group of control elements (210&224) to perform a first predefined set of functions in a first orientation associated with the first operational mode (1502) and to perform a second predefined set of functions in a second orientation associated with the second operational mode (1502); and a display to render images having a first image orientation associated with the first operational mode (1502) and to render images having a second image orientation associated with the second operational mode (1502).

Abstract:
An apparatus for use in a data processing device (100 in Fig.1) is described in which an audio system and a light system is embedded within a cursor control device such as a directional pad (145 in Fig.1). In one embodiment, the apparatus comprises a cursor control device for performing one or more defined cursor control functions; an audio system (146 in Fig.1) embedded within the cursor control device, the audio system configured to generate audio signals responsive to audio signals received and/or generated by the data processing device; and a light source embedded within the cursor control device, the light sources configured to generate light from the cursor control device responsive to control signals generated by the data processing device.

Abstract:
The present invention is a chair or similar body-supporting apparatus for sitting on, reclining on or lying upon. The chair or similar apparatus is capable of transmitting sound and vibrations generated by a sound source and/or a vibration source to a user's body. The sound and vibrations are transmitted through speakers, transducers, or a combination thereof which are connected to the chair or similar apparatus. The transmitted sound and vibrations may include translated frequencies that are generated by a translation of higher frequencies that can mainly be heard to lower frequencies that can mainly be felt. The present invention is also a method of providing vibrational energy to a user, including regulating sound and vibrations transmitted through speakers, transducers, or a combination thereof which are connected to a chair or similar body-supporting apparatus.
