The insulative mounting member is provided with a through-hole (a first through-hole) corresponding to the protrusion-type electrode terminal and a through-hole (a second through-hole) corresponding to the depression space, the PCM is provided with a coupling through- hole corresponding to the first through-hole, and the coupling of the insulative mounting member and the PCM to the battery cell is achieved by successively fixedly inserting the protrusion-type electrode terminal through the first through-hole of the insulative mounting member and the coupling through-hole of the PCM.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a spacer used for a battery pack having a multiplicity of battery cells mounted within a casing thereof. To fit within a space between the battery cells and the pack casing, the spacer, when seen in a vertical section, has an upper surface with a shape corresponding to an inner surface of the pack casing and a lower surface with a shape corresponding to an outer surface of the battery cells, the upper surface having a groove formed thereon to receive an electrical connecting member. Also, to be able to insertedly mount a temperature-detecting member in the space between the battery cells from the side direction, the spacer comprises one or more mounts for a temperature-detecting member, wherein the mount has a horizontal opening opened to one direction or both directions, and a vertical opening formed in communication with the horizontal opening. Among other benefits of the spacer according to the present invention, the temperature-detecting member can be inserted in one direction of the horizontal opening and secured between the battery cell and the spacer, thereby eliminating an adhesion process of the temperature-detecting member. Also, as the electrical connecting member for electrical connection between the battery cells and between a battery cell and a protection circuit member is mounted in the groove and remains in an insulated state, the occurrence of a short circuit due to vibrations or shock can be prevented. Further, the overall assembly work can be simplified.
