Abstract:
A clip (600) is provided with a sleeve-like enveloping compression spring (603). The present invention also discloses a system for use during surgical procedure. The system comprises; (a) at least one clip (600); and (b) at least one introducer (800). The present invention also discloses a method for retraction of an internal organ during a surgical procedure. The method comprises steps selected inter alia from (a) obtaining a system; (b) introducing the clip (600) into the abdomen cavity and/or into body organs and/or natural/artificial orifices and/or spaces; (c) opening the clip's jaws (606, 607) via the introducer (800); (d) grabbing tissue; (e) anchoring the clip's hook to the internal wall of the abdominal cavity and/or the body organ and/or the natural/artificial orifices and/or spaces; (f) disconnecting the introducer (800) from the clip (600); and (g) removing the introducer (800) from the abdominal cavity and/or the body organs and/or the natural/artificial orifices and/or spaces.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an elastic connector (ES) having at least two ends, each of which comprises attachment means for reversibly attaching said ES to at least two components; wherein said ES is characterized by a predetermined default configuration: and, a queue-like configuration in which said ES is adapted to provide simultaneous queue-like insertion or extraction of said at least two components through a tube or endoscope's working channel or a trocar into or from a body cavity; said ES is adapted to be reversibly transformed from said predetermined default configuration to said queue-like configuration and from said queue-like configuration to said predetermined default configuration.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a cleaning device and a method for cleaning surgical instruments, especially the scope lens and/or the tip of the scope and/or the cover of the scope. The cleaning device is adapted to clean the surgical instruments, especially the scope lens and/or said tip of the scope and/or the cover of said scope by wiping the surgical instrument over the cleaning device during a surgical procedure within the body cavity and/or within said abdominal cavity and/or within hollow body organs and/or within the natural/artificial orifices and/or within the spaces and/or to the post operative spaces. The cleaning device is a standalone cleaning device. The present invention also discloses a system for use during a surgical procedure. The system comprises: (a) at least one cleaning device; and (b) at least one introducer.

Abstract:
The present invention discloses a clip for use during surgical procedure. The clip is provided with a sleeve-like enveloping compression spring. The compression spring surrounds the jaws of the clip and constrains the jaws to be close to each other. The present invention also discloses a system for use during surgical procedure. The system comprises: (a) at least one clip; and (b) at least one introducer. The clip comprising first and second means; the first means used for attaching a device to the internal surface within a cavity of the human body and the second means is a surgical instrument or device. The present invention also discloses a method for retraction of an internal organ during a surgical procedure. The method comprises steps selected inter alia from (a) obtaining a system; (b) introducing the clip into the abdomen cavity and/or into a hollow body organs and/or natural/artificial orifices and/or spaces and/or post operative spaces; (c) opening the clip's jaws via the introducer; (d) grabbing an internal organ or tissue via the jaws; (e) anchoring the clip's hook to the internal wall of the abdominal cavity and/or the hollow body organ and/or the natural/artificial orifices and/or the spaces and/or the post operative spaces; (f) disconnecting the introducer from the clip; and (g) removing the introducer from the abdominal cavity and/or the hollow body organs and/or the natural/artificial orifices and/or the spaces and/or the post operative spaces; thereby the need of additional incisions to said abdominal wall is avoided.
