    摘要: A surgical end effector assembly (100) includes a pair of jaw members (110, 120), a knife (170) defining a longitudinal slot (172), a pivot pin (101) coupling the jaw members (110, 120) to one another, and a drive member (160) including a drive pin (161) that is engaged to the jaw members (110, 120). The pivot pin (101) and/or the drive pin (161) extends through the longitudinal slot (172) of the knife (170) to couple the knife (170) to the jaw members (110, 120) and/or the drive member (160). The surgical end effector assembly (100) is transitionable between a use position, wherein the knife (170) and drive member (160) are generally aligned with one another to facilitate releasable engagement of the surgical end effector assembly (100) with a surgical instrument, and a cleaning position, wherein the jaw members (110, 120), knife (170), and drive member (160) are fanned apart from one another to facilitate cleaning of the surgical end effector assembly (100). Methods of disengaging and sterilizing end effector assemblies for reuse are also provided.

    摘要: Described here are systems, devices, and methods for providing remote manipulation or traction to tissue using one or more graspers, delivery devices, and magnetic control assemblies. The graspers may be configured for insertion into the patient during a minimally-invasive procedure, such as a laparoscopic operation. The graspers may be configured to releasably connect to tissue. In some embodiments, the grasper may comprise a clip, a clamp, a suction device, a coil, or the like, and may be configured to connect to any suitable tissue. Delivery devices may be configured to releasably engage a grasper to deliver the grasper, remove it from the patient, or reposition it. The delivery devices may additionally be configured to actuate the grasper to attach it to tissue and/or detach it from tissue. The magnetic control elements may be configured to be positioned externally of the body to move, reposition, and/or hold the grasper.

    摘要: The patent is relative to a new instrument for single access laparoscopy that tries to overcome the limits of the present instrumentation of this technique, that usually allows to use only one forceps, which does not allow to keep the tissues tenses to work with the surgical instrument. To overcome this limitation, the proposed instrument presents two arms, presenting a diameter equal to half of the main body, while in the direction perpendicular to this these arms can have an bigger dimension, provided its shape be entirely circumscribed by the external dimension of the initial body, and each bearing at the tip a forceps, mounted on two auxiliary arms. The internal mechanism allows opening the two arms, while the forceps bend toward the inside, keeping their configuration, being all this controlled by a single command. Two additional commands allow then to open and close the forceps individually, and each command can be locked in any position. The forceps can be opened in any direction relative to the plane of the arms, as well as it is possible that one or both of the forceps are replaced by a tool of a different type.
