Abstract:
Systems, devices and methods relating to a spinal implant for placement in a disc space of a spine are described. A spinal implant (1) can include a plurality of wedge members including a leading wedge (22), a trailing wedge (28), and one or more intermediary wedges (26) therebetween. The spinal implant (1) can be configured to have a first linear configuration in which the plurality of wedge members are in a linearly expanded form and a second circular configuration in which the plurality of wedge members are positioned circumferentially relative to a center axis. In its first configuration, the spinal implant (1) can be delivered to a disc space, whereby it can assume its second configuration within the disc space, thereby forming a replacement nucleus. The spinal implant (1) can be kept in its first configuration by a rod member (41) received through the plurality of wedge members. The wedge members can be slidably removed off of the rod member (41) and can assume the second configuration.
Abstract:
A fat-based confectionery material with a continuous fat phase characterised in that the material is dispersed with bubbles containing a liquid filling and methods for the production thereof.
Abstract:
A bone plate screw-blocking system and method that comprises a plate with at least two bone screw receiving holes, blocking elements, bone screws, and a tool capable of simultaneously actuating at least two blocking elements. The plate includes an upper surface and a lower surface with bone screw receiving holes that extend through both surfaces of the plate. The bone screws couple the plate to the bone via the bone screw receiving holes. The blocking elements are movably positioned proximate each bone screw receiving hole. In an initial unblocked position, the blocking elements do not cover the bone screw receiving holes. Upon movement into final blocked positions, the blocking elements cover at least a portion of the bone screw receiving holes and preferably extend over at least a portion of the bone screw during use.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a solution for handling seamless handover between a 3GPP network and a non-3GPP network or two non-3GPP networks. The solution uses a new state information informing about a UE being in an Idle state in relation to the network not currently communicating through. Thus the UE is not immediately detached from the old network but may keep a logical connection and quickly re-attach to the old network if of interest.
Abstract:
An authentication method comprises providing a set of N plural number of master keys both to a user terminal (13) and to home network entity (11) and, when performing an authentication key agreement (AKA) transaction for an application, selecting one of the N number of master keys to serve as a master key for use both at the user terminal and the home network entity for deriving further keys for the application. For example, when performing an authentication key agreement (AKA) transaction for a first application, the method involves randomly selecting one of the N number of master keys to serve as a first master key for use both at the user terminal and the home network entity for deriving further keys for the first application; but when 10 performing an authentication key agreement (AKA) transaction for another application, the method involves randomly selecting another one of the N number of master keys to serve as master key for use both at the user terminal and the home network entity for deriving further keys for the another application.
Abstract:
The invention relates to compounds of formula (I) and to pharmaceutically acceptable salts, prodrugs, solvates or hydrates thereof. This invention also relates to a method of using such compounds in the treatment of hyperproliferative diseases and autoimmune diseases in mammals, especially humans, and to pharmaceutical compositions containing such compounds.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a method, system, and anchor node for providing UE (user equipment) access to a packet data network via a telecommunications system that is itself accessible through a variety of access networks. A user attaches to a first access network, intending to access the packet data network via the telecommunications system, and is assigned a PDN SAE GW. The identity of the PDN SAE GW is registered, so that if the UE attaches to another access network, triggering a new attach procedure, the identity is retrieved. A determination is then made whether the previously-assigned PDN SAE GW may be used for the present communications and, if so it is reassigned. The identity of the PDN SAE GW is registered in an anchor node, which is in a preferred embodiment the HSS. If the previously-assigned PDN SAE GW cannot be used for some reason, or if the PDN SAE GW must be changed for other reasons, then the communication is reassigned to a new PDN SAE GW and provision is made for a smooth transition with minimal service disruption.
