There is provided a method for generating a user interface for enabling access to data on a server. The method comprises updating metadata in a metadata server, the metadata server being functionally connected to the server; processing the metadata on the metadata server; sending a request to the server to perform a task; and generating the user interface on a client device based on the processed metadata for enabling access to data on the server. The user interface may preferably be used to send the request to the server. The task being performed by the server may include, for example, browsing a collection of files, organizing files, selecting files, editing files, uploading files, downloading files and so forth.

The network device can re- transmit the message to another network device connected in the downstream path, if the message includes the first indicator. The processor (204) is configured to determine a trajectory based on the signals and/or identify a command which is used to control the controlled device (104). The controlled device (104), for example, a cleaning unit for washing windows, can be secured to, for example, a window. Upon identifying the command from the controller (102), the controlled device (104) can respond to the command. The command can be instructions for the controlled device (104) to move about the window and/or activate a cleaning system.

The present invention also provides a method to isolate an ICE related protease and related DNA compounds encoding this protease. The present invention further comprises a method using said protease to screen for inhibitors of apoptosis. Drug-eluting implants and methods for their manufacture and use are disclosed. The implants comprise collagenous materials of natural origin in the form of sealed packets, within which a drug is arranged to diffuse out of the implant over a period of time after implantation. The collagenous material may be small intestine submucosa (SIS). The drug may, in some embodiments, be an analgesic such as bupivacaine. The sealed packet may be formed by applying defined conditions of heat and pressure to the collagenous material to bond its edges. The methods of using the implants comprise placing the implant in or proximate to a wound prior to wound closure to provide localized analgesia, anesthesia, or encourage wound healing.
