Abstract:
A template containing scripts defining the actions of terminals to be used in bidirectional services is acquired in advance and analyzed/stored in a terminal device. This terminal device acquires an electronic program table and displays, in case a program capable of using a stored template exists, the information indicating the existence of the template, the information indicating the function of the template, and the accounting information accompanying the use of the template, in the electronic program table acquired.
Abstract:
A client terminal sub-system (1300) receives a video signal sent out from a broadcast sub-system (1100), and sends out an information acquisition request comprising a combination of the address of a broadcast-associated service provider (1200) and the current time to acquire information related to the video signal.
Abstract:
A receiving apparatus (10) has a receiver unit (1) for receiving a real time signal; a packet analyzer unit (2); an error corrector unit (3) for correcting an error block in a packet; a communication path evaluator unit (20); a buffer (4) for storing data; a plurality of antennas (11); an antenna switch unit (6); an antenna switch control unit (5) for controlling the antenna switching based on each predetermined unit of communication path evaluation result; a retransmission request control unit (7) for performing a retransmission request based on each predetermined unit of communication path evaluation result; a packet generator unit (8) for generating a retransmission request packet; and a transmitter unit (9) for transmitting the retransmission request packet. The retransmission request control unit (7) performs the retransmission request within such a range that causes no interruption of the real time transmission. In this way, in a case when video and/or audio signals are transmitted between components of an AV system by use of radio communication, a high-quality-signal provision can be realized without any hardware for performing a high-speed processing or without any high-speed CPU.
Abstract:
According to a communication method, delivery acknowledgement information to a plurality of transmission packets (1 to 20) is notified from a reception station to a transmission station in a batch mode via delivery acknowledgement packets (Dly ACK packets a to d). The delivery acknowledgement packets include information on reception of a packet which has not been received. Thus, this communication method eliminates delay of retransmission when a packet is lost, expiration of the packet period, and packet rearrangement.
