Abstract:
Materials and methods for treatment of pulmonary bulla are provided. A peptide comprising between about 7 amino acids and about 32 amino acids in a solution may be introduced to a target site. A hydrogel barrier may be provided at the target site in order to treat the pulmonary bulla.
Abstract:
Materials and methods for forming a bronchial obstruction are provided. A peptide comprising between about 7 amino acids and about 32 amino acids in a solution may be introduced to a target site. A hydrogel barrier may be provided at the target site in order to provide a bronchial obstruction.
Abstract:
Materials and methods for treatment of pulmonary leakage are provided. A peptide comprising between about 7 amino acids and about 32 amino acids in a solution may be introduced to a target site. A hydrogel barrier may be provided at the target site in order to treat the pulmonary leakage.
Abstract:
Synthetic peptide hydrogel solutions having a pH level of about 3.5 or less and a tonicity within an isotonic osmolality range for use in cell culture experimentation. Related kits and cell culture methods are also disclosed.
Abstract:
Self-assembling peptides comprising non-ionic polar amino acids for anti-adhesion are provided herein. Compositions, peptide solutions and macroscopic scaffolds of self-assembling peptides consisting essentially of non-ionic, polar amino acids are provided to prevent adhesion or to provide anti-adhesion properties. Particular peptides include those consisting essentially of, serine, threonine, tyrosine, cysteine, glutamine, asparagine, methionine, tryptophan, hydroxy-proline, and combinations thereof. Methods and kits are also provided.
