    摘要: A diffuser (1) for a multiphase fluid pump is disclosed, the diffuser comprising a central hub (8) coaxially aligned with a surrounding shroud (6). The hub and shroud forms together an annular passage (10) for fluid flow (F) through the diffuser. A set of diffusor blades (7) are arranged angularly spaced about the hub, the blades connecting the hub and the shroud while projecting a pressure side (16) towards the flow (F). The diffusor blades (7) are saddle- shaped such that in any radial plane (IV-IV; V-V) intersecting a diffusor blade, the diffusor blade projects a convexly curved pressure side (16) towards the flow, whereas in any tangential plane (III-III) intersecting the diffuser blade the diffusor blade projects a concavely curved pressure side ( 16) towards the flow.

    摘要: A subsea fluid processing system is provided containing a liquid reservoir, an inlet tank, a pump, an outlet system, and a fluid re-circulation loop. The liquid reservoir circulates a primer liquid stream to the inlet tank via the fluid re-circulation loop. The inlet tank further receives a first production fluid stream and mixes it with the primer liquid stream to produce thereby a second production fluid stream having a reduced gas volume fraction (GVF) relative to the first production fluid stream. The pump receives the second production fluid stream from the inlet tank and increases its pressure. Further, the outlet system containing the liquid reservoir receives the second production fluid stream from the pump and separates at least a portion of the primer liquid stream from a principal production stream. The primer liquid includes at least one exogenous liquid not derived from the first production fluid stream.

The impeller vanes each have a leading edge (54) and a trailing edge (58) where the leading edge of one impeller vane overlaps the trailing edge of an adjacent impeller vane by a second overlap angle larger than the first overlap angle. The pump includes a rotor flow channel extending between the hub outer surface and the housing inner surface. The rotor flow channel has an inlet area and an outlet area, whereby the outlet area is smaller than the inlet area.

    摘要: A fluid processing system is provided containing a pump and a fluid reservoir. The pump includes a casing, one or more pump stages, a pump inlet, and a pump outlet. The casing includes one or more slots, with at least one slot configured to extract at least a portion of a multiphase fluid flowing within the pump. The fluid reservoir encompasses at least a portion of the casing and is configured to receive and separate the portion of the multiphase fluid into an extracted liquid phase and an extracted gaseous phase. The fluid reservoir includes a re-circulation conduit disposed proximate to the pump inlet and a discharge device coupled to the re-circulation conduit. The discharge de v ice regulates re-circulation of at least a portion of the extracted liquid phase to the pump via the pump inlet for reducing a gas volume fraction of the multiphase fluid being fed to the pump.

    摘要: A method for separating carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) from a gas stream is provided. The method includes cooling the gas stream in a cooling stage to form a cooled gas stream and cooling the cooled gas stream in a converging-diverging nozzle to form one or both of solid CO 2 and liquid CO 2 . The method further includes separating at least a portion of one or both of solid CO 2 and liquid CO 2 from the cooled gas stream in the converging-diverging nozzle to form a C0 2 -rich stream and a C0 2 -lean gas stream. The method further includes expanding the C0 2 -lean gas stream in an expander downstream of the converging-diverging nozzle to form a cooled C0 2 -lean gas stream and circulating at least a portion of the cooled C0 2 -lean gas stream to the cooling stage for cooling the gas stream. Systems for separating carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) from a CO 2 stream are also provided.
