Abstract:
There is disclosed a bag web for packing articles in film bags provided as a contiguous web. At an opening edge, the bag web is provided with peripheral strip areas having holes intended for guide connection with guide means that can retain and guide the bags along a conveyor path through a filling station. The bag items will thus be contiguous along an upper edge, which is used for guiding. The bag webs include the film webs forming opposing front and back sides of the bag and additional film pieces disposed between the flat sides of the bag in order thereby to form side or bottom, or both side and bottom, of the bag. By such a bag web is achieved a particularly simple and rapid filling of the type with stand bottom and with folded side edges.
Abstract:
Bag web (1), equipment (7) and method for packing items, liquid or bulk goods in film bags, which are conveyed in a continuous bag web (1) of bag items (2) through a filling station (9). The mouths of the bags are held open for receiving items, after which the bags are closed and are separated from the web. The bag web (1) comprises a zip closure (4), which is applied parallel to the upper edge of the bag web (1) and is continuous for the entire length of the bag web. The zip closure (4) is coupled to the first guiding means (8), which are arranged to retain and guide the bag web (1) in the zip closure (4) along a first section of a transport web through the equipment (7). The filling station comprises bag opening means (15), which force the edges of the bag mouth apart for successive opening of the bags in the filling station (9). The mouths of the bags are brought back together after the filling station (9) in that the bag web (1) is coupled to second guiding means (11) for retaining and guiding the bag web (1) in the zip closure (4) along another section of the transport web through the equipment. Then closure and sealing of the mouths of the bags are also carried out along the upper non-sealed part of the lateral edges of the bag items. There is reduced wastage of material, with quick and easy filling of bag items (2).
Abstract:
An article storage and dispensing apparatus and method in which articles made by series production are distributed from an article supplier into a storage compartment of predetermined dimensions for storage of articles in front and rear rows of article storage positions. An article distributor in an upper portion of the storage compartment has a carriage, a carriage drive which is configured to drive the carriage in a reversible horizontal carriage drive direction across at least part of the width of the storage compartment, and an article support mounted on the carriage and configured to receive articles from the article supplier above the support when the carriage is in a start position. An article dispenser is associated with the article support to dispense articles selectively in opposite horizontal dispensing directions transverse to the carriage drive direction off the front and rear ends of the support to drop into front and rear article rows.

Abstract:
A method for picking up and conveying film pouches (3) from a supply (36) to a processing unit, wherein the film pouches (3) are provided from a continuous web (7) of film pouches (3), the web (7) conveyed successively through an insertion apparatus (1) where a support mandrel (11) is guided into a channel-shaped edge area (15) of the web (7), wherein the film pouches (3) are separated from the channel-shaped edge area (15) by passing through a separator (9), wherein the separated film pouches (3') are disposed one by one on a transport means (21) in the processing unit, and wherein the separated channel-shaped edge area (15') is moved by a drive means (13); and a insertion apparatus (1) and a web (7) of film pouches (3).
Abstract:
Disclosed is a web of bags configured to be guided through a filling station. The web of bags may comprise a continuous guide of a guide material configured to be guided through the filling station. The guide may be connected with one or more bags of a bag material and with a bag opening. Also disclosed are methods of filling such bags on a web of bags and use of such web of bags.
Abstract:
Drainage bag (1) for storage of foodstuffs (11), wherein the drainage bag (1) comprises at least one product chamber (2) and at least one liquid chamber (8), wherein the product chamber (2) and the liquid chamber (8) are connected to each other by means of drainage holes (4), whereby it is achieved that foodstuffs (11) can be stored together with liquid, wherein the bag (1) makes it possible to separate foodstuffs (11) and liquid simply by positioning the bag (1), such that the liquid runs away.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a method for packing articles, liquid or loose material in film bags which are conveyed through a filling station in a continuous web of bag items, wherein the bag openings are kept open for reception of articles, after which the bags are closed and separated from the web. In order to increase the filling rate and make the bags cheaper, the bag web is provided with a central support region extending longitudinally of the bag web and connecting bag items that are disposed side by side transversely of the web. The central support region is conveyed on a support rail along the conveyor path through the filling station and formed as an entirely or partially closed channel. The peripheral areas of the bag items at the outermost opposite bag opening edges of two juxtaposed bag items are brought into guiding connection with guide means adapted for retaining and guiding edge areas at opposing bag opening edges along a conveyor path through the filling station. In connection with this passage, the guide means will force the bag opening edges apart for successive opening of the bags in the filling station, and then, after filling the bags, joining the bag opening edges for closing the bags again.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a bag (101) with a zipper closure and a method for making such a bag. The bag is formed of a first (102) and a second (103) superposed flat side and folded side pieces (104) disposed between the flat sides of the bag and welded to edge areas at the side edges of the flat sides. The bag includes interacting zipper parts (114) in the form of a male part (120) and a female part (119) connected with each their flat side and extending from side edge to side edge. In order to achieve the largest possible opening of the bag, the folded side edges are extending from the bottom edge of the bag to the top edge of the bag. In the side pieces a thinning of material (123) is established in an area next to the areas in the flat sides where the zipper parts are disposed. Thus, the side pieces in the thinned area will have a material thickness enabling the male and female parts to engage each other while at the same time the material of the side pieces is clamped there between.
Abstract:
There is disclosed a bag web with a continuous web of laterally folded bag items which are formed of two superposed film webs forming opposing front and back sides of a bag item. The folded parts of the first film web are disposed between the front and back sides of the bag item for forming at least one first folded side in the bag item, the first folded side formed of material from the first film web. Hereby insertion of separate pieces for the formation of side folds is avoided.
