    摘要: Methods and systems are disclosed for beds of porous materials such as adsorbents for solid phase extractions. A bed configuration stabilized first by a porous bag, and then by a cage. The cage is part of the bag, the cage is external to the bag, or the cage is inside the bag. The cage advances the preparation, properties and performance of the bed including cost, speed, efficiency, reproducibility, ruggedness and formation of fines. A bagged, caged bed of porous adsorb ant material is affixed to a motor to create a "paddle" configuration. The paddle can be used to stir a larger sample, thereby performing a solid phase extraction of the sample. Solid phase extraction of a sample can be performed by placing a caged bagged bed of porous adsorbant material in a small container that contains the sample of interest. The container may also be shaken or agitated in some manner to enhance the speed or amount of adsorption of the analyte of interest.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method for extracting circulating nucleic acids from a biological fluid. The method comprising the successive steps of providing the biological fluid supposed to contain the circulating nucleic acids. Then the biological fluid is contacted with a lysis solution comprising at least a chaotropic agent, a binding solution comprising at least a PEG derivative designed for cooperating with at least part of the circulating nucleic acids, wherein the binding solution is free of ethanol and isopropanol, and a solid support capable of capturing at least part of the circulating nucleic acid. Finally, the solid support is separated from the lysis solution, from the binding solution and from the biological fluid.
