Abstract:
Abstract:
Systems and methods for delivering fluid-containing feed materials to process equipment are disclosed. A liner-based pressure dispensing vessel is subjected to filling by application of vacuum between the liner and overpack. Multiple feed material flow controllers of different calibrated flow ranges may be selectively operated in parallel for a single feed material. Feed material blending and testing for scale-up may be performed with feed materials supplied by multiple liner-based pressure dispensing containers. A gravimetric system may be used to determine concentration of at least one component of a multi-component solution or mixture.

The removably attachable mixing device being attachable to the water source and the ingredient source for receiving and mixing water and ingredient. The mixing device includes a body having a wall defining a cavity, an ingredient inlet removably attachable to the ingredient source and communicating with the cavity of the body. A water inlet removably attachable to the water source and communicating with the cavity of the body. A beverage outlet communicating with the cavity of the body to dispense beverage from the cavity of the body of the mixing device. A kit including the removably attachable mixing device. A method for mixing beverage using the removably attachable mixing device.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for diluting a liquid colorant. The method and apparatus are especially suitable for use in conjunction with the manufacture of colored concrete products. The method of spraying includes, providing a liquid colorant, diluting the liquid colorant with a diluting liquid, and spraying the diluted liquid colorant onto uncured concrete and/or on mold surfaces prior to filling with uncured concrete. The apparatus for spraying a diluted liquid colorant includes a flow path for a diluting liquid, a liquid colorant pump connected to the flow path, a mixer for mixing the diluting liquid with the liquid colorant, and a sprayer connected to the flow path.
Abstract:
An apparatus (10) for creating a use solution of a concentrate diluted, with a dilution rate of not more than 1:130, into a diluent (12) flowing under pressure in a line (22). A normally-closed, user activatable valve (18) is operatively coupled in the line allowing the diluent to flow in the line upon user activation. A flow regulator (26) is operatively coupled in the line downstream of the valve (18), configured to maintain a constant flow rate for the diluent in the line. A constant flow rate pump (32) having an inlet and an outlet is operatively coupled to the valve (18). The inlet is adapted to be operatively fluidly coupled to the concentrate (28). The outlet is fluidly coupled to the line downstream of the flow regulator (26).
Abstract:
The present invention provides a solution to the problem of reducing the bulk and weight of detergents for delivery to users by providing in at least one embodiment an in situ , discrete, batch mixing method and system for a diluent and concentrated detergent at a point of dispense. While some systems are designed to mix diluents and detergents, those systems are typically designed for continuous flow, for example, in a manufacturing facility. The present invention provides for mixing the diluent and detergents in discrete batches sized for a user at the point of dispense, using a method and system that can be located even in remote areas without an external power supply. The System and method only needs diluent line pressure in at least one embodiment. Further, the method and system controls access to the batch quantity so that multiple batches are not unintentionally extracted. The method and system can be used with vending machines placed on site.
Abstract:
The claimed invention relates to a method and a device for processing blood concentrate products before they are exposed to a continued process for extracting those remaining medicinally interesting sub-components. The appropriate pre-processing, in relation to the invention, primarily entails a mechanically powered resolution of the viscous flowing concentrate products in a diluting solution for the adaptation of the total products for a renewed centrifuging.
Abstract:
