Abstract:
Adhesive application apparatus and methods are disclosed herein. An example adhesive application apparatus includes a spray assembly to apply a quantity of mixed adhesive to a designated spray area of a panel. The spray assembly has a spray boom to support a spray nozzle and an adhesive mixing chamber. The adhesive mixing chamber is coupled to the spray assembly upstream from the spray nozzle. A first fluid path provides a first adhesive component to the adhesive mixing chamber and a second fluid path provides a second adhesive to the adhesive mixing chamber.
Abstract:
A nozzle device capable of surely imparting a chemical to a traveling body even in an ultra high-speed paper-making machine and sufficiently suppressing the spattering of the chemical and a method of imparting the chemical using the nozzle device are provided. The nozzle device (100) for imparting a chemical to the traveling body comprises an ejecting nozzle (1) capable of ejecting the chemical, a first spray nozzle (12) positioned on the upstream side of the ejecting nozzle (1) in the traveling direction of the traveling body, and a second spray nozzle (22) positioned on the downstream side of the ejecting nozzle (1) in the traveling direction. The nozzle device is characterized in that both the first spray nozzle (12) and the second spray nozzle (22) can spray air, and the angle formed by the traveling direction of the traveling body and the ejecting direction of the chemical from the ejecting nozzle (1) is 30 to 135°.
Abstract:
The finding refers to a plant for spraying varnishing products onto flat laminates, particularly onto leather in the tan industry. The plant substantially comprises a spray compartment provided with at least one feeding and spraying rod (4) equipped with a plurality of air brushes suitable for uniformly distributing the varnishing products on the leather that passes on a wire-type conveyor.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a canvas cleaning apparatus for use in a paper mill. The apparatus includes a main injection unit 30 for injecting cleaning water having an injection head 100 moved from side to side, an auxiliary injection unit 40 for injecting the cleaning water enclosing the injection head of the main injection unit 30 and having a permanent magnetic 44 fixed to one end thereof, an auxiliary suction unit 50 for sucking cleaning water and wastes installed at a position opposed to the main injection unit 30 and having a permanent magnet 54 fixed to one end thereof, and a main suction unit 60 for sucking cleaning water and wastes fixed to the auxiliary suction unit 50.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for the production of components with a pre-determined surface appearance, in particular for front panels of kitchen units, whereby the components are printed with a pre-determined pattern by means of a printing method which may be programmed corresponding to the appearance achieved. The invention further relates to a device for the production of said components and a system in which groups of said components are produced.
Abstract:
A slot-die coating apparatus for manufacturing a patterned coating layer (3) on a substrate (1) comprises a substrate carrier (6), a coating device, a sensor facility (70) and a controller (80). The substrate carrier (6) is arranged on a support for providing the substrate (1). The coating device comprises a head-side unit and a support-side unit (50, 55; 52 resp.) that are mutually movable with respect to each other by a motor (52, 56). The head- side unit comprises a translator part (52) and a slot-die coating head (2). The support-side unit (55) comprises a stator part (56) of the motor. The controller (80) controls the motor (52) to position the slot-die coating head at a desired distance (Ds). The support-side unit (55) has a mass that is at least equal to the mass of the head-side unit (50), and the support-side unit (55) is flexibly coupled to the support (60).
