摘要: A continuous process for preparing insulation panels having thick (0.2 mm to 1 mm) metal facing panels and a fiber-reinforced polymer foam core is disclosed. In the process, a bottom metal facing panel is continuously supplied. A mat of reinforcing fibers and a foamable resin composition are applied to the bottom facing panel. A flexible barrier layer is applied atop the foamable resin composition, and the assembly is passed through nip rolls to compress the assembly and force the resin composition into the fiber mat. An adhesive layer and top metallic facing layer are then applied on top of the flexible barrier layer, and the resulting assembly is gauged and cured by passing it through a double band laminator.

摘要: The present invention relates to an inorganic board comprising a core layer containing a high viscosity inorganic material and an embossing pattern layer formed integrally with the core layer and containing a low viscosity inorganic material, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide an inorganic board having substantially excellent durability by imparting embossing and colors to a surface of a product itself through an embossing pattern layer formed integrally with a core layer. Further, the present invention has a merit in that productivity and economic efficiency of the manufacturing process can be substantially improved by manufacturing an inorganic board through a continuous process without an additional secondary process.

摘要: Fire resistant gels are provided that comprise a polymer material and a fire-retardant chemical. Fire-resistant transparent materials are provided that comprise plates of transparent material that are arranged parallel to each other but having a space therebetween. The plates can be spaced apart using spacers and the space can be filled with a fire-retardant gel comprising a polymer material and a fire-retardant chemical. For certain uses, fire-resistant gels can be applied to the surface of a structure subject to fire damage or can be provided in the interior of a wall, door or other structure. The gel is permitted to polymerize, thereby forming the completed fire-resistant coating or construction material. The fire-resistant material so produced can be used for construction purposes where vision, radiant heat protection, safety and a fire rating is required and where large surface area and thin dimensions are desirable. Fire-resistant gels of this invention can also be used in the shipping, motor vehicle, and aerospace industries.
