A mobile platform intended for civilian, industrial, research or other use. An ambulation system or mobile platform such as for traveling over uneven terrain includes one or more leg arrangements attached to a main body or chassis. In an embodiment, a leg arrangement comprises one or more legs, such as legs that rotate in the same and singular direction around their respective rotary joints when the vehicle is moving in a single direction. The rotational axis for both legs is located near each other and preferably coaxially and allows ground contact of two or more legs at all times.
Abstract:
One aspect of the invention relates to a building or component kit intended for constructing different variations of vehicles. The kit comprises a number of connecting members as well as unique modules; for example, wheel modules, which comprises a carrier (6) with means (17) for holding a wheel or some other kind of running member (7), as well as a number of sockets (12, 13) for receiving connecting members (4), in which sockets said connecting members can be disengageably applied. Another aspect of the invention relates to the wheel module as such.

L'invention est une plate-forme mobile destinée à être télécommandée comprenant deux paires de propulseurs (Ρ 1 , P 2 ; P 3 , P 4 ) ayant des axes de propulsion respectifs (Δ 1 , Δ 2 ; Δ 3 , Δ 4 ) orientables dans deux plans parallèles entre eux et à un axe longitudinal (X 1 , Χ' 1 ) de la plate-forme, chaque propulseur comprenant une hélice marine (HM 1 , HM 2 ; HM 3 , HM 4 ) et une hélice aérienne (HA 1 , HA 2 ; HA 3 , HA 4 ) respectives, et, un moteur (M 1 , M 2 - M 3 , M 4 ) pour entraîner en rotation les hélices marine et aérienne, la plateforme comprenant aussi des moyens pour commuter un couplage entre le moteur et l'une ou l'autre des hélices, en inversant le sens de rotation du moteur. A propulsion system for a vehicle or toy vehicle is disclosed. The system comprises rotary drive means for driving the vehicle along ground, the rotary drive means operating in a plane and having a peripheral ground-engagement part. The system further comprises a rotor comprising one or more rotor blades rotatable about a rotor axis for producing thrust, wherein the rotary drive means and the rotor are positioned relative to each other so that during rotation of the rotor, the rotor blades pass through the plane of the rotary drive means, inside the peripheral ground-engagement part. In this way, the rotor blades are protected by the peripheral ground-engagement part.

The wheel-ski system is for use with a vehicle adapted for travel on road and snow-covered surfaces. The system has a ski-engaging travel mode and a wheel-engaging travel mode. It includes an elongated ski, a supporting leg pivotally coupled to the vehicle, a wheel, an actuator mounted between a back plate and a first lever arm, and a positioning device for positioning a wheel-supporting axle into an upper position when the supporting leg is in a first position, and positioning the wheel-supporting axle into a bottom position when the supporting leg is in a second position.

In specific embodiments, a vehicle propellable through fluids or along surfaces, comprises a main work section and a plurality of propulsion units for propelling the main work section. The main work section supports one or more payloads. The propulsion units each include a rotor system and a ring-shaped wheel at least partially arranged about the rotor system and rotatable about the rotor system. The ring-shaped wheel is arranged at a banked angle relative to the rotor system.

In one possible embodiment, an amphibious unmanned aerial vehicle is provided, which includes a fuselage comprised of a buoyant material. Separators within the fuselage form separate compartments within the fuselage. Mounts associated with the compartments for securing waterproof aircraft components within the fuselage. The compartments each have drainage openings in the fuselage extending from the interior of the fuselage to the exterior of the fuselage.

Aparato que puede viajar como auto, despegar como helicóptero y volar como avión.A un helicóptero de dos asientos, piloto y copiloto, se coloca bajo ellos una fuerza motriz que mueve un cardán vertical que en su extremo superior contiene las aspas delun helicóptero, sobre el techo del aparato. Este despega como cualquier helicóptero pero tiene dos alas como un avión de ala baja que pivotean en un mismo eje una a cada lado del aparato como persiana de ventana. Estas se posicionan vertical en modo helicóptero y cuando este adquiere velocidad horizontal, las alas giran en su eje a la forma horizontal como avión y mientras planea como avión el cardan vertical pivotea desde su base pasando entre los asientos de piloto y copiloto quedando horizontal y las aspas delante de la cabina soplan hacia atrás como avión.
