Abstract:
A cargo organizer (10) includes a base (12), a storage compartment (14) supported by the base (12) and a deployment system (100) for the storage compartment (14). The storage compartment (14) includes a plurality of wall panels (20) each having a hinged connection (82, 92) with the base (12) and pivotable about its hinged connection (82, 92) between a stowed orientation and an upright orientation. The storage compartment (14) is selectively deployable between a collapsed condition and an open condition. In the collapsed condition, each wall panel (20) is lowered to its stowed orientation while, in the open condition, each wall panel (20) is raised to its upright orientation. In the collapsed condition, the wall panels (20) include an underlying wall panel (20c) and two adjacent overlying wall panels (20a, 20b) in spaced opposition about the underlying wall panel (20c). The deployment system (100) includes a strap system (102) that connects an inboard portion of the underlying wall panel (20c) to respective outboard portions of the two adjacent overlying wall panels (20a, 20b).
Abstract:
Components and systems of an aircraft seating assembly are disclosed. The aircraft seating assembly can include an adjustable headrest that allows the headrest to be translated and/or rotated relative to a seat, a storage sleeve, and/or a spreader. The aircraft seating assembly can include an energy absorption system. The energy absorption system can include bracket which can control pivoting of a seat back relative to the bracket when subject to forces exceeding a threshold force. The energy absorption system can include a movable wall coupled to the seat.
Abstract:
A side entry system for a vehicle having at least four doors includes a running board coupled to an exterior surface of the vehicle. A first step is included at or within a door sill of a rear passenger door. The first step is positioned above the running board. A second step is formed adjacent to the first step and is included in an interior of the vehicle. The second step is positioned above the first step. The running board, the first step, and the second step are configured to assist standing entry into a passenger pod of the vehicle through the rear passenger door. A roll cage is coupled to the vehicle and is attached to a rear bumper of the vehicle. The passenger pod extends aft of a rear taillight of the vehicle and includes a passenger seat positioned at least mostly aft of the rear taillight.
Abstract:
This envelope is an automobile accessory adapted to fit between the center console of an automobile and either the driver's seat or the passenger's seat, to catch items that fall in the space between the seat and the console. The sides of this envelope are made of flexible polymeric material that allows it to compress to fit in this space. The resilient force generated as the sides of the envelope seek to return to their uncompressed shape holds the envelope fairly securely in the space. Yet a user is able to slide the envelope into and out of the space easily. The envelope can be used to store items as well as to catch dropped ones.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A frame (10) has a first frame portion (16) configured to sit on a base (17) of a vehicle seat (18) and demountably receive a machine (12). A second portion (20) of frame (10) is coupled with and extends substantially upright from the first portion (16). The second portion (20) is adjacent and bears against a back (22) of the seat (8). Extending across the second portion (20) from side to side is a lateral frame element (24). The lateral frame element (24) enables the frame (10) to be secured on and to the seat (18) by way of a conventional seat belt (26). The frame (10) also includes a pivoting support shown in this embodiment as a tray (28) for supporting a box (30) of capsules (32) which are dispensed by the machine (12).
Abstract:
Devices, apparatus and methods of assembling and mounting a removable net basket on hoops/rings that can be attached to armrests on child car seats. Two hoops can sandwich a rim end of a tubular net/mesh material. The hoops can be located with one within the other and have snapable bendable fasteners that snap into like slots. The bottom end of the tubular mesh material can be closed off by sandwiching a pair of elongated strips together, with the strips having mateable enlarged heads that pass through slots such as cross shaped slots. The mesh/net bag can be removed by reversing the assembly. The assembled hoops can be hunger by a hanger onto an armrest of a juvenile car seat so that items, such as but not limited to beverage holders, food stuffs, toys and the like, can be placed therein.
