A container top comprising a container top member comprising tracks (110a, 110b) over an upper surface thereof and a sealer sealing an opening thereof; and a slidable member (120) having a sealing mechanism, the slidable member being slidable through the tracks and positioned such that sliding of the slidable member over the tracks to one direction unseals the sealer (12), forming an opening over the container top member, in the initial opening thereof and wherein sliding the slidable member back to its original position over the opening formed thereby covers and seals the opening. The opening formed by the unsealing of the sealer can be re-sealed at will by the sealing mechanism of the slidable member. The sealing mechanism may be for example a sealing material coating strip located over a periphery of the slidable member (120) or the physical configuration of the slidable member periphery edges.

A drinking device comprises: a cup or mug (20) having a cavity (25) for containing flowable substance and a mouth (21); and a cover (10,10') that covers the mouth (21) and that has a through-opening (11,11'). The cover has an open configuration for allowing an outflow of the flowable substance from the cavity through the through-opening and a closed configuration for inhibiting such outflow from the cavity, in particular through the through-opening. The cover (10,10') is movable relative to the mouth (21) from the open configuration in which the through-opening (11,11') is located on the mouth (21) to the closed configuration in which the through-opening is located away from the mouth (21).

Provided is a pocket-sized, hand-held container (10) including a receptacle (40) at least partially housed in an outer housing (12) and a tray (14), contained within the outer housing (12) and positioned around the receptacle (40). Preferably, the tray (14) is sealed with a membrane (26). The receptacle (40) is used to contain spent product. Preferably, the outer housing (12) includes an upper housing (32) and a lower housing (30). A lid (34) in the upper housing (32) slides open to reveal an openable window in the membrane (26). In an embodiment, at least one thumb ridge (24) is located on the lid (34) to facilitate opening and closing of the lid (34).

Disclosed are product containers, and more particularly, containers for storing a product in a sealed environment that have slide activated opening and closing features. The disclosed containers include a container body that defines an internal product storage compartment and an aperture through which product contained within the internal product storage compartment can be accessed. The containers also include a door element and a sliding cover panel. The door element is connected to the container body and adapted for pivoting movement between a first position, wherein the door element overlies the aperture defined in the upper section of the container, and a second position wherein the aperture is at least partially exposed and product contained within the internal product storage compartment can be accessed. The cover panel slidably connected to the container body and the door element such that linear movement of the cover articulates the door.

A container for packaging and dispensing granular products, in particular dragees, pastilles, tablets and the like, comprising a containment body (2) having an opening (10) for dispensing the products and a cover (4) which is associated with the containment body (2) by engagement means (16, 18, 20, 22) which can allow rotational movement of the cover in accordance with an axis which is orthogonal relative to the plane in which the contour of the opening (10) is located in order to move the cover into a position in which the container is opened. The engagement means (16, 18, 20, 22) are arranged in order also to allow a linear translation movement of the cover (4) between a position in which the opening is completely covered and a position in which the opening is partially covered.

The invention relates to a container for medicaments. The inventive container comprises a bottom (2), side walls (3, 4, 5, 6) that are vertically arranged on the bottom (2), an opening (7) that is opposite the bottom, two rails (8) which are arranged in parallel in relation to each other and on two side walls (4, 6) which are situated in parallel opposite each other, a lid (9) for closing the opening (7) having two lateral guide devices (10) that are parallel to one another and serve for displacing the lid (9) along the rails (8) and two pairs of blocking devices (11, 12, 13, 14) which are provided on the rails (8) and the lateral guide devices (10) in pairs and in such a way that said devices are opposite each other, whereby said devices serve for blocking the lid (9) in the closing position thereof. Said container also comprises screens (25) which are arranged on the side walls (4, 6) in such a way that the lateral edge of the lid (9) is screened in the closing position thereof.
