Abstract:
The invention relates to a closing unit (3) for closing a throughflow opening provided in a wall (2) of a container (1), comprising: an inner closing element configured to be mounted on the edge of the wall all around the throughflow opening provided therein, wherein the inner closing element is further configured to connect in mounted position against at least the inner side of the wall and is provided with a passage for the content of the container; an outer closing element configured to be coupled releasably to the inner closing element for the purpose of closing the passage provided therein; wherein both the inner closing element and the outer element comprise a screw thread coupling for screwing the outer closing element onto the lower closing element; wherein the outer closing element comprises a peripheral press-on edge which is embodied to clamp the outer closing element against the outer side of the wall of the container when screwing.
Abstract:
A container for food which is closed by a peelable membrane (2) at one end and a sanitary end (4) at the opposite end. The container has a ring (1) to which the membrane is fixed, the ring and sanitary end being formed from the same sheet metal. In order to make this possible, the container body (3) flares outwardly at the end to which the ring is fixed and is necked at the opposite end. Dimensions are selected so that the resultant container is not only stable but also readily handled during manufacture, filling and on supermarket shelves.
Abstract:
The invention relates to the container for drinks, made of metal, for packaging small volumes of fluids. The offered invention solves the problem of making of a construction of the metal container, allowing to provide a maximum of convenience at uptake of a drink directly from container at maintenance of simplicity of its manufacturing. The task is solved by a construction of the metal container containing a cylindrical body with the bottom and the cover, differing that the top of a body is made in the form of a neck with transverse section in an interval 0,03 - 10 square centimetres, that allows to carry out gulp at the full dip of the top of a body of the container in a mouth, densely covering body by lips and not touching with a teeth. Thus the top of a body can be made in the form of the truncated cone with transverse section of the vertex in an interval 0,03 - 10 square centimetres. Besides the top of the body can be made asymmetrically relative to a vertical axis of symmetry. The bottom of the container can have concave inside relief replicated the configuration of the top of the body.
Abstract:
According to the invention, to produce can bodies (148, 248), a continuous can jacket (140, 24, 240) that is sealed by means of a first joint is produced from a flat metal material (103, 116). At least one sealing element (142, 31a, 31b, 242) is mounted on the continuous can jacket (140, 24, 240) by means of an additional joint. At least one of the additional joints is configured as a laser welding seam, which forms an annular continuous sealing seam (145, 42, 245) between the continuous can jacket (140, 24, 240) and the sealing element(s) (142, 31a, 31b, 242). Before the sealing seam (145, 42, 245) is welded, complementary seam contact surfaces of the can jacket (140, 24, 240) and the sealing element (142, 31a, 31b, 242) are configured as annular continuous edge regions (140a, 60a, 142a, 240a, 242a) that flare out or narrow towards the can axis. To weld the sealing seam (145, 42, 245), the can jacket (140, 24, 240) and the sealing element(s) (142, 31a, 31b, 242) are pushed together until the edge regions (140a, 60a, 142a, 240a, 242a) make contact, one of the end faces (140b, 142b, 240b, 242b) of the two edge regions (140a, 60a 142a, 240a 242a) lying on the interior of the can body (148, 248) and the other lying on the exterior of said body. The invention enables the air-free welding of the seam contact surfaces, thus guaranteeing an impermeable welding seam even with the use of extremely thin metal sheets. The material overlap in the vicinity of the sealing seam (145, 42, 245) is minimal.
Abstract:
A container according to present invention may have an inner housing with an enclosed wall, an open top and a sealed bottom, and may have an outer housing with an enclosed wall and an open bottom. The upper edge of the inner housing and the upper edge of the outer housing are joined such that the area between the inner housing and the outer housing is accessible only from the bottom of the container and not from the top. The container and container assembly may be produced as part of either a one step injection modeling process or by other processes, and is configured such that it is stackable for shipping and storage prior to being filled.
Abstract:
Process for producing a metal can, comprising a cylindrical body, a base and a lid, of the type in which the base has a cylindrical recess which projects into the inside of the can, in which process: a) a combination of a body and a base is produced, by deep-drawing and wall stretching, from metallic and/or plastic-coated metal sheet which is suitable for cans; b) an insert piece, which is tubular in shape so as to correspond to the cylindrical recess and is closed on one side, is produced from corresponding metal sheet by deep-drawing or spinning, followed by wall stretching; c) a hole which is narrower than the open side of the insert piece is made in the base of the body-base combination; d) the edge of the hole is flanged until it acquires a bearing surface which is able to fit together with the edge of the open side of the insert piece; e) the edge of the hole and the edge of the open side of the insert piece are joined together.
Abstract:
A resealable can end (10) having a neck member (11) and hat member (12) which can be sealed onto and removed from the neck member (11) is capable of containing a product under pressure. This end can (10) be attached to a metal container body by a conventional seam (20). The end provides resealing containment of the contents of the container and an improved mouth for better pour opening and direct drinking. The method of making and the apparatus for making the can end is disclosed.
